Shooting all the security cameras in the area will make them disappear, in my experience mid-air sliding through them can also work sometimes.

So is there any way to remove orikin upgrade thingies from other weapons and apply them to other weapons? It's kind of a bummer that not only did I not get a choice in what weapon to apply them to, but they're also useless now that I've switched to new weapons.

Did you buy any of your weapons with Platinum? Any weapons or warframes you buy with Platinum will have them pre-installed.

Only thing I bought with platinum was a glave, and for some reason I just had a Lato vandal in my inventory out of nowhere. That's good to know though.

On topic of alert sadness: missed trinity helm by 20 minutes because I had the audacity to wake up at 5am and not earlier.
I've been using the official Warframe Nexus app for Android to wake my ass up in the middle of the night if an alert with something I want is happening.
Building Vauban right now because of that fucking saint of an app.
Someone suggested on Warframe forums that there should be a tool with what you can get your potato back but break weapon/warframe in the process.
Sounds ok to me.
I'd put fixing the fucking alert system as a higher priority.

There is a language problem with the text displaying waves and names of blueprints. You may for example have been on "vague 5" in a defense mission or gotten an "ash helmet blaupause". In this case, the text is in russian, and since you don't have the language pack for it, it will all be displayed in stars.

Go to the second page of the weapons window in your inventory for a minor pleasant surprise.
I don't know if it reset or not, but the daily roulette was weird today. It appeared to be a single Forma and literally every other space was a Platinum Discount. Under the item were three Stars. Its been a long time since I was less than 7 Days + so I forget if that means it was day 1 or not.
If there's an alert on a planet you don't have unlocked, does the game not show the alert at all?
Yeah I've been using that Warfeed site and was beginning to think it was giving false alerts until I actually checked the level it was on. I should probably do every level in the game.
I won't get HEK for ages, but I'll save up for it once I'm getting close to Rank 4
But what shotgun should I get in the meantime- STRUN or Boar?

Against infested* It has reduced damage against armored opponents.
Anyway, to answer the question:
If you want an all-rounder, get the ethers.
If you like crushing grineer, get the fragor.
If you like chopping stuff (best against infested), get the scindo.
If you like chopping stuff (best against infested), yet still want to maintain some agility and have high charge damage, get the gram.
