I always thought that the people you save in rescue missions are Tenno. Reason is that the Lotus logo shows up on the bodysuits.
This in turn led me to believe that the basic suits these prisoners are wearing would be something akin to Evangelion's plugsuits - But instead of pulling on a suit and stepping into a giant robots, you pull on.. two suits. Or the warframe itself is just a skin-tight giant robot. Whatever. In other words, that basic gimp suit they wear I see as an intermediary and a prerequisite of sorts.

I haven't read the EULA but I'm certain that cheating etc etc is in it, which I haven't. Only played the game regularly. Funny thing is, it is about 1 month since I last played. The only thing I did today was to get that alert I saw pop up on my RSS feed.

Their anti-cheat seems to be having teething problems.
Yeah I had SweetFX on warframe to have humane AA and bloom but I stopped as they put their anti-cheat system. Better safe than sorry..

Well jeez, that was a scare. I'm farming spy missions to try and get the last Banshee part I need. I was in one of those rooms with the double Corpus cameras and a couple of boxes. As I'm picking up the second to last one. [i]the lights start flickering[/i]. I was Loki, so naturally I couldn't exactly take on this asshole in a fight. But I COULD high-tail it out of there, which is what I fucking did. I barely made it out alive.
Luckily, he seems to fall for Loki's invisibility.

That cart is the strangest thing in this game. Sometimes its solid, sometimes its intangible. But it always, and I mean always, glitches the heck out of the grineer ragdolls.
In other news, Ash is gonna be done this weekend. Any recommended melee weapons for him?
Also, Afuris's ammo pool is really, really tiny and the damage it deals is poor. Is it any decent once you upgrade it, cuz right now its absolutely shit to use.

I already have enough Potatoes for all the frames + 1 extra, and I managed to get frost from 0 to 21 in one evening.

Was about to finish wave 10 of an endless defence, host leaves. Okay, that sucks, but we can deal with it. Nope, two other assholes leave as well, losing me the game.
Alright so, my problem was resolved. They told me that in their latest patch they added this automatic banning for everyone using cheats in their game and they would give me a second chance. Come to think of it, I had cheat engine running in the background from an earlier cheat attempt in Game Dev Tycoon. Really sucks that their anti cheat is scanning all processes running in the background to find cheats.
This game is absolute hell for those without patience nor money to shell out.

I just hate using newbie gear for any longer than I have to...
Damn it, I'm going to have to farm defense missions to get this last part, and it's going to be a pain in the ass. All of the hosts I join are from 2 countries away or something, because I always lag terribly. Everyone leaves at wave 15, and I always get some mod instead :v:

Heh, I just managed to destroy a mining machine just as Lotus changed the mission objective to Exterminate. The HUD began seizuring between "Machines Remaining" and "Enemies Remaining" and got stuck like that.
How do you guys even manage to play this game without buying shitloads of platinum?

You can literally get everything in game short of cosmetics. In addition, some of the better(ish) melee weapons are alert only. Yes, that includes Orokin Reactors and Orokin Catalysts.

It designed as a timesink, think of it as something to play when you feel like it rather than a race to finish, makes it more enjoyable in that aspect.

Bah, this seems like a game for those who have a much larger attention span and more patience than I do. Oh well, I needed something new to play.

Some weapons costs like 12'000 and are straight upgrades compared to the starting ones. That sum is very easy to get.
