Actually, ancients have there weak spot just below the head on their backs. The weak spot does extra damage while the boots do normal damage and everywhere else does less damage apart from the head its self which does 75% damage.
Picked this up like 3 nights ago, thinking of spending 10 dollars to get another class and hopefully 2 good weapons. Who would you guys recommend? I picked Mag in the beginning and would prefer someone who has a distinctly different gameplay feel. How's the Rhino? I'm almost level 2 so idk how expensive he is yet or if he's too slow. I've also heard good things about the latron so I might pick that up. What should be the second weapon I get, a secondary or melee? Are there any decent cheapish ones out there?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Not quite. It doesn't say that it deals less damage, just a normal amount.
There's also the fact that slashing will split enemies into various bits and pieces.
Tho I won't deny making bottle rockets out of enemies with Fragor will ever get old.

If you want a tank, get Frost or Trinity. Both are better tanks than Rhino is, currently.

It's a misconception, AP mods add straight-up damage depending on AP vulnerability, whether or not a weapon has armor ignore.
It acts like any other elemental damage mods.
I did a couple of extra void runs and got all the parts for Frost Prime (again), can I cook another Frost Prime and lvl it up and get extra exp?

I got everything to craft one, but decided agaisnt it since I got the hate blueprint
Now I'm baking a latron, since I want to use a new primary on nyx/vauban
Ha, so I just got another banshee chassis blueprint, and when I checked my inventory I realized I had three and hadn't noticed when I had gotten it a second time. I guess those are pretty common. (I just started playing this week)

My throne room is armpit-deep in all manner of resources, which I shovel out daily, yet without those three, it's all just donations-to-be, slipping away to the labyrinth of elbow and cross sections that I vainly hope will one day lead to a new type of lab.
I gotta say, I've been having a ton of fun with the BOAR. Just walk up to a heavy unit, aim at their face, BANGBANGBANGBANGBANG, and they're dead. I love using it against Corpus techs, if they send out their shield drones, just one mag is still enough to kill them without having to kill the drone first.
Is anyone having problems getting Nyx helmet? A friend and I have been farming Phorid and every time we [i]only[/i] get systems or chassis. Lost count of how many times we've done it.

I got the Helmet atleast 5 times and the Chassis 6 times.
Systems were the worst bit for me.

Once again, not quite. Piercing is considering a fourth "element", and simply adds onto existing damage. Besides that, there are also the Ancients (and regular infested) that take piercing damage as well.

so, i was defending super hard against a bunch of infested
an ancient runs in, knocks me on my ass with his tentacles, and i land right in front of a crawler, who pukes on me. a leaper then tackles me and sends me sliding along the ground right into the middle of a pack of chargers, who tear me to pieces as i lie on the ground
i kinda feel that should be the new trailer for warframe
