Just did Forma BP myself, that was crazy fun, need more Infested Mobile Defense like people said. [editline]19th June 2013[/editline] Damn you Leonthefox, ya ruined my Automerge!
The infested MD was really fun because I was packing my Orthos with increased attack speed and damage
Infested MD is fun because all the infested use melee, it made it easier to use Chaos on a large number of them.
I probably would have had more fun in the infested MD if I had remembered to switch out all of my anti-grineer stuff for anti-infested stuff.
People actually have selected gear for each faction? Huh, I just usually go guns blazing. :V
I just swap fire mods for electrical mods if I'm about to do a pluto mission
People actually have selected gear for each faction? Huh, I just usually go guns blazing. :V
Even just switching mods out can make a big difference. Besides, you need to level a bunch of weapons to gain rank, so you might as well have some that are good against each faction.
People actually have selected gear for each faction? Huh, I just usually go guns blazing. :V
there's no real need to have faction specific stuff just max frost and AP mods first and your weapons are effective against anything
there's no real need to have faction specific stuff just max frost and AP mods first and your weapons are effective against anything
No, you max damage and multishot
No, you max damage and multishot
No, RoF and crit mods.
No, you max damage and multishot
I mean in terms of elements obviously, the only things that are relevant to factions
does anyone have a link to that alert notifier program someone posted a while back?
What's a really easy defense mission to get void keys?
I got about 6 keys or so (3 of them were tier III), just by doing Xini. Just get some folks and go to wave 5 a bunch of times. [editline]18th June 2013[/editline] Speaking of which, I got Frost Prime within 3 runs, but I still need the Latron Prime receiver.

Got the helmet tho. Are the systems/chasis tier specific?

Is the Dark Dagger any good? Dunno if I wanna make it since it was a reward the an alert a little while ago.
jesus christ on roller-skates, orthos wrecks shit with zero mods. i just solo'd the forma alert and every single one of my kills came from that beautiful melee weapon. i think i'm going to shelf my dual zoren for a while.
Is the Dark Dagger any good? Dunno if I wanna make it since it was a reward the an alert a little while ago.
It's selling point is that it has a high attack speed and it ignores armor. It's only good against grineer.
Fucks sake, completes a ??? mission and got diddly squat.
I have a Latron Prime, but no Prime Frost systems or chasis. Got the helmet tho. Are the systems/chasis tier specific?
I dunno. I got all of them doing Tier III though. [editline]19th June 2013[/editline] Suddenly, posts :v:
doing a deception mission, got the datamass to the nav console. "looks like we'll be here a little longer, take this datamass to the navigation console." Lotus I swear to god
doing a deception mission, got the datamass to the nav console. "looks like we'll be here a little longer, take this datamass to the navigation console." Lotus I swear to god
the other day i was doing an extermination mission that was interrupted by lotus to do another extermination mission. all it did was reset the enemy counter.
Correct me if I wrong, but wasn't something along the lines of "uh oh, they triggered a self destruct sequence", followed by a time limit to get to extraction a thing? I recall this happening sometimes back in March or April as a random secondary objective. I am guessing it was removed(if I'm remembering correctly and it actually existed) due to maps being a lot more complex than they were then. Also, loosing your stuff to the map exploding because you got stuck would certainly piss off a few people.
What's the best way to earn credits? I'm not making diddly-shit here, and I'm really getting tired of using the same gear forever :/ but I need the credits to cover manufacturing costs, you see? Any advice? Oh and can I join the FP Dojo-bromo-coalition? IGN is Zakkshock

Alert missions with 4 people usually give a ton of credits no matter how much it says you'll get when you start. Searching containers/lockers help slowly as well.
Blegh why is Rhino the only XP locked frame?
Because his entire designed purpose was to go toe to toe with bosses and walk away unscathed in the end, basically like the giant dude from Ninja Scroll, so he was locked for a legit reason. Problem is, DE only seems to understand extremes and seem to literally ignore their own usage metrics, which they all have complete access to, so the only actual tank-tank in the game got nerfed all to fuck, and then they broke all his other shit in the very next update after his nerf. Meanwhile Ash can go toe to toe with anyone in the game at level 70 and red crit the shit out of them and turn bosses like level 70 Hek into hamburger in literal seconds with dual flame or Hate. "game balance".

Basically DE is throwing out new content without fixing their broke shit first, which is a gigantic nono for any professional design outfit. They'll figure it out when Sony starts knocking on the door and asking why a game that uses so much of their network is generating so many untenable user complaints. Q4 ain't that far away, and while it's always a good thing to have design and art making new stuff on downtime/update cycles, there are still gigantic play-stopping bugs that have been there since v5, and that kind of behavior is not going to sit will with Ps4 users or SoJ/A. They really need to get their shit together on bugs, especially considering they already have a live hotfix system in place to deal with this kinda shit. Goofy LOD issues, broken waypoints on megahuge maps, cells without any enemies and all the doors locked, black holes drops that kill you, stuff that you build and then it never actually drops, a gigantic memory leak issue since U8, the game essentially thrashing the shit out of one cpu core and doing nothing with the rest, etc etc etc. That kind of stuff isn't gonna go over too well out of beta.
