It's not 0.1% puncture, it means that it'll penetrate 0.1 meters.

it's funny because this phrase right here is a reason to not use metal auger on shield lancers
honestly though, it's good if you max it out and put it on vulkar/latron. shooting through 2 feet of cover is more useful than you think.
If you want to dmg shield lancers you just slap "elemental mod" on your gun.
Or jump kick them.

Its so hard to play any other frame when you've played frost due to frost ability's are the bestest
I never join pub-defenses without my frost due to him being so vital for just defense.

Also when dealing with shield lancers, just shoot them in the head. The top of their head isn't guarded if you stand on the same height as them

You can actually aim at the air just a couple of centimeters above their head and the game will register a headshot anyway.

Solo'd the defense mission asking for people to join over and over again but it seems that making your own game instead of joining the guy at wave 7 is a better option. Artifact ended up dying on the last wave. After 14 fucking waves it dies on the last.

Frost Prime has more polarity slots from what I heard so it saves you from having to use more forma on it.
All I need is some alloy plates and rubedo and I can make Frost Prime. :dance: (and wait like 4 days)
I got a control module and a Loki helmet blueprint from my first time killing Hyena, I think that's pretty good.

Well this sure bodes well. After 5 failed tries at joining the alert going on for Shield Disruption, I finally get into a game. It's on the first wave, no one is near the artifact, and it's at 51%. :l

Got my first Warframe blueprint, a rhino chassis.
Defeated the Stalker got these things called Despair, are they any good?
And finally got enough polymer bits for the clan key!
Well, despite my earlier worries, we actually got through rather easily. The artifact never even lost its shields after that first wave, and only one person got sent into last-stand. (He didn't seem to have any shield/health mods, he was 165/165.)
