The reason most people have Morphics is because before update 8 it used to drop as often as a common mat and it would and it would drop everywhere when people were farming something else. Back then (since its classed as a rare mat) is was only ever wanted in quantities of one for it blueprints that wanted it. If you go to the Warframe V2 thread, back when people cared about Rubedo, you would see endless complaints about people getting Morphics when they wanted Rubedo for a Rhino.

I feel like I now have endless amounts of rubedo, but not enough morphics though. I currently just found one on Europa, but during all that I got like 200 more rubedo.

As much as I like Vauban he is very squishy on his own. So I recommend rhino (even if his abilities are crap) for his high health, armour and shields.
Loki and nyx are also favourites.
saryn with a maxed flow, streamline, stretch, and focus is really good at solo with only miasma as her equipped skill.

Ember is actually really good solo, her second turns you into a tank, and your fourth kills everything, plus with the polarities you get, it's easy to spec her for power usage. It turns most missions into a cakewalk when you have 25% power efficiency and 450 energy and with the press of a button you can reduce damage taken to nearly 90% and still have energy left over to kill everything around you five times over.
What kind of Platinum discounts can you get as login bonuses? I've heard you can get 80%, but I've never seen it

It makes him the tankiest thing known to man; I have and it's well worth it. Prepare to sit in the middle of hundreds of infested and not even feel a damn thing.
Although he does need a buff right now, all his skills are close to worthless besides his protection-armor one, which is insanely powerful.

With rush, marathon and quick rest mods, you can go extremely fast with loki and very fast as ash. I have tried volt, but I don't like how his speed is a power, rather than you constantly running fast.
If you slap enough speed mods on Volt and still have flow/streamline you could just spam speed whenever you run out and run even faster.

You must be playing on the low level planets. On the high level planets or high wave defense missions, your iron skin will last a second if you're lucky, far from insanely powerful.

His charge is just a flat-out worse Slash-Dash, his stomp is a horribly scaling AoE nuke, and his ult is bugged right now so it doesn't do anything of use.

Maxed iron skin only protects against 800 damage, I have 620 shield and 500 hp ontop of that with +50% armor.
I still drop like a fly in 2 seconds on high level planets.
If you want to tank, get a trinity and slap increase the duration of energy drain and Link as much as you can. When you use link, smack the shit out of an enemy then gain more energy than what you just expended
Frost is also a good tank. Rhino just pales right now in comparison to most other frames in all aspects, even in the tanking one you're better off going Frost or Trinity.

In defense missions, just pop a snow globe over the pod and your team doesn't have to worry about anything for 30 seconds, as long as they stay inside

I use generally weak frame without any protective mods whatsoever and I still manage to finish the missions. Even if you are a tank, I would recommend you to roll out of big groups of enemies instead of standing in the middle and get murdered. This isn't an MMO, you can move.
