You could always use your sword or rifle to soften the enemy up then finish them with the pistol to save time. Just don't go overboard and kill them with something other than the pistol.

That's the thing. My GPU's pretty much gone bonkers. It runs at a solid 40(ish)ºC when playing and I've tried tons of different driver versions and it's always the same. Except till I tried the latest BETA drivers earlier yesterday, it made the issue even worse.

What sort of mods do you have on your melees?
If I recall correctly, my swords were built for One hit kill potential:
> Level 2 pressure point
> Level 0 fire and thunder
> Level 0 charge damage bonus
> Level 0 swing speed increase
> Level 2 AP damage
No charge speed increase because A) Fury also applies to charge increase (apparently) and B) Slide melee does charge damage.

Tends to one hit kill Uranus grineer, that's the highest level I can remember off the top of my head.

And the weird thing is it's not all games that do this. For example Lost Planet 2 and Darksiders 2 work without issues. Far Cry 3 works in single player, goes to hell like in the screenies in Coop/MP. Warframe & bunch of other games just go straight to hell. :(

I'll be honest though, my aim fucking sucks. I usually always have the lowest accuracy rate when finishing missions.
By the way, most mobs have a vulnerability to armor piercing and ice damage, and at worse they aren't completely immune to it, so there's no reason no to have those two mods at all times on a potatoe'd level 30 weapon. Add a fire mod for infected or an electricity mod for corpus. For Grineer your ice and AP mod is enough, so use that extra mod slot for something else.
Typically, for a main weapon I'll always use (in no specific order):
>Crit Chance >Crit Damage >Ice Mod >AP Mod
>Fire or Electricity Mod >Reload Time >Damage Mod >Magazine Mod or Multishot (depending if it's a shotgun or not).

The automatic pistols are completely shit till later on. If anything, buy yourself either the AKlato, or the Lex.
And no, you don't need to have a rank 30 pistol to do it. I would buy the aklato before the Lex, tho. The Lex is godly later on, but kinda poor early.
Aklatos carried me on for a looooong time. They're cheap and great, buy them.
