I'm really digging these vignettes they have before missions start. It's a shame they don't use your currently equipped weapons, though.

Just started playing this game and it's pretty awesome. Anyone got any tips for a new player? I'm currently on my second mission right now and I'm having a lot of fun just playing by myself. Also before I get too deep into this game can someone tell me if the only way you can look bad ass or have good items is if you pay real money? I like games where their are options to get around the cash shop and maybe earn items in the cash shop with time and hard work.
Ditch the MK1 Braton for the standard Braton ASAP. Its relatively cheap in credits.

The only cash-only items are cosmetics for your sentinel (little flying robot that follows you around) and color schemes for your warframes. Unless I'm forgetting something.
BUT, you'll have to spend moneys to get additional slots for weapons and warframes. You start out with a pretty piddly amount.

I just finished building my Loki so I figured I'd run him through Vor as I do with all of my new Warframes and the fucker was level 130. It took us about 10 minutes to kill the bastard and I was pissed he didn't drop morphics but then I got two, one from a locker and one from a storage container.

heck the first thing I did when I woke up today after reading the patch notes was go to the site to upload the emblem but then I saw that Plat's required (150 plat) :v:

That's not a MOA. In the lore, Infested Anicents are hundreds of years older than the Corpus. It only makes sense for them to have some outlandish, bizarre appearance. Prior to this update, they all looked like infested Crewmen which was really weird.
I just got 9 morphics in two missions, what the hell did DE do?

Either Rhino got nerfed, or everyone does a lot more damage now, holy shit. How can my 1200+ shield get downed [i]instantly[/i] now?

Also, the new boss is an Osprey and while it has low HP, it deals MASSIVE fucking damage. It felt like a nuclear fucking strike was hitting me half the time.

But before this update I could melee a fucking T3 Void Heavy Gunner to death with ease, now my shield gets downed pretty fast on Mercury missions. Either they nerfed Rhino or the damage scaling on enemies is much higher now.
Also, Vor is a pretty fucking cool boss now.

They ramped up the difficulty for some reason. Example, Pluto is now in the level 70s.
Not sure if I'm ever going to even bother using artifacts now...
saryn has a defense polarity for her aura slot which makes no sense considering she isn't used for tanking.

I was confused by the blue colour and the double-jointed legs. they're still weird as hell though.
so apparently every planets drop set is Mercuries, so you can't get things like rubedo or even the control modules right now. but morphics drop like rain.
here's my current plan for the dojo

Also, all of the auras have been nerfed. Energy siphon only gives [b]0.1[/b] energy regen at level one now.
