Not quite. It just allows for much easier travel. It's also the only melee weapon I ever bring into the Void, since it's a wonderful fast-travel/getaway weapon.
Thank Cyro, and with the new update is it back to being as hard as it was before to farm for rare mods?

You can get just about anywhere as any warframe by simply honing your keyboard ninja techniques. Even the most daunting of obstacles may be overcome by the right combination of flipping and spinning.
Well, I just spent another 15 hours going at the raptor trying to get that chassis. Got about 2 helms, and a system.
Fuck it. I'll just wait until they fix the drop rates for him.

DE needs to hurry up with making helmets not change stats, I want to use stuff without sucking.

The perils of using switch teleport on raptor.
Nimus (Eris): Enemy Spy Located - 46m - 2900cr - Swindle Loki Helmet (Blueprint)
Anyone got that part of Eris unlocked and up this late/early?
So I missed Loki helmet, god damnit.
So I missed Loki helmet, god damnit.
You could say you've been swindled out of it
so after many many missions as OP frost since I last fought a boss, I decided to mess around in a low level mission with my unmodded loki and my level 0 snipetron
guess who decided to show up?
stalker burns through my shields with the despair in seconds then slash dashes me to death

Really? Well shit, I do alerts for two of my friends if they're offline/can't play
I can understand banning hackers, but DE is getting a little ban happy.
Well I guess they really can't monitor this part:
2. LICENSE RESTRICTIONS AND LIMITATIONS
The limited, personal use license granted to you in Section 1 is subject to the following restrictions and limitations as well as all other terms and conditions of this Agreement (collectively, the “License Limitations”). You agree that you will not, under any circumstances:
a. sell, sublicense, assign, rent, lease, sell or otherwise transfer the Software, except as expressly permitted by this Agreement;
But then again it says Software and not account there so after that there isn't anything they actually broke in user license agreement.
Look up how they define "the software", I guess.
So, any idea why the Raptor drops absolutely jack shit

They made Nova parts extremely rare.
Only have 1 slot left, after I got nothing every time I killed him I just gave up and started the Vauban I had already built all the parts for.

Why does DE have such a tremendous hardon for the RNG?
Why does DE have such a tremendous hardon for the RNG?
Agree, they should atleast increase drop rates in nightmare or/and alert missions.
Why does DE have such a tremendous hardon for the RNG?
Because it's a f2p
Because it's a f2p
Is a 3 day wait once you get all the parts which take 12 hours each to craft on top of the time to get the materials to make them not enough of an incentive to buy things with real money in their eyes? Do they really have to make the blueprints rarer so that you either spend a week getting a new warframe or shell out money for over 300 plat to get it? I understand that they need to make money, but some respect for the player is nice to see once in a while.
I really think they should guarantee getting the parts after killing the boss a ton of times. It's just so discouraging just getting nothing over and over again. If each kill actually counted towards getting a part, especially if you could choose which one, I think it would make the grind much more tolerable, even if the average time to get all the blueprints stayed the same.

9.13 hotfix thread states that this wasn't intended, so basically it's because bugs. Rebecca's initial posted speculation was that the drops may be falling out of bounds and getting teleported to the centre of the map, however several people pointed out that they were seeing no drops whatsoever (which has been noted).
TL;DR: Raptor's supposed to drop shit, Raptor doesn't drop shit, DE are wondering why Raptor doesn't drop shit

Did DE even playtest the Raptor? I complain about this update a lot, but I didn't expect the update they said was intended to polish the game to be so damn rough.
I don't know what you guys are complaining about, the Free to Plays money making aspects of this game are really lean and laid back. Pretty much every other free to play is far more harsh in methods to get items and money. It more or less takes a couple of hours of farming to get any mats you want, while in most Free to Plays it would take days, then half a day/ a day to craft items. That is really not that long. Also in most Free to Plays stuff like crafting items to craft other items is featured far more heavily, while in this game only the hardest to get items feature it (clan tech).
As far Free to Plays go this game is to good to be true. I hope that they it doesn't become as much of a grind as other free to plays on release.
On top of all this you have a dev team constantly kissing your feet, trying to impress you and more importantly always being open, there aren't many game studios at the moment releasing bi weekly live streams and actively listening to community feed back. If you guys told the devs about half of your problems with the game on the official forums, chances are something would be done about it. A while back I think it was G3rman or his name was something like that, posted a thread on Ember buffs which largely got implemented, and is one of the reasons that Ember is a kick ass frame today.
[SUB][SUB]Probably the longest post Ive made on FP. I'm gonna eat.[/SUB][/SUB]

I think DE do what SOE do; release the thing to the players and see what breaks.
