I'm downloading it right now, and so far the gameplay excites me. Any tips for a newcomer like me?
Ditch the Braton Mk-1 asap, even if it's only for a normal Braton.

Prepare for a whole lot of grinding. Make sure you get new weapon fast. default weapon sucks.

It'd be nice if I was ever online for the alert-only melee weapons.

Which is the best throw-able weapon?
I'm thinking of changing the default pistol when it gets to 30.
Kunai and Despair are nice.
I have the Kunai myself and love it. Haven't heard much about the Hikou though.
They're all good. Hikou is insanely good for light infested, kunai is great overall, and despair is great if you can get it.
If we have to wait for DE to approve every clan's emblem manually, it'll probably take a week or two because I've had a ticket up for 10 days and haven't gotten any response back yet.
And not that it matters now but you can't buy two of the Starter Packs, I just tried and the "Purchase for Myself" button was greyed out :v:
Also fuck everything i'm 3 waves away from finishing the Ember helmet alert and my computer crashes :(
I can't imagine what it be like to grind out the fieldrons for some of the higher-tier clan tech stuff like the Flux Rifle only to see that the rank requirement is absurd.
This was me a few days ago, all pumped to finally have everything but suddenly rank requirements.
Awwww sweet, got Flow from the starter pack. Also I know they're meh but how do you use the credit & affinity boosters you get from the pack?

They're automatic.
So uh.. Don't try sliding into a door that's about to close. Especially if it actually closes when you're right there in the center of it.

I did a quick version of what I had in mind with that crappy dojo planner on the WF forums.

So, facing towards the top of the blueprint when you spawn: We cluster the labs off to the right of the starting area crossroads. Directly ahead is the elevator to the obstacle course. Left is the great hall and dueling rooms (maybe another elevator, maybe not, up to you). Going backwards we place the oracle and a long string of + connectors so we can add as many reactors and extra halls as we need going forward.
This puts everything we need to access physically really close by to the starting point, and allows for future expansion without making people walk farther.
I got master thief three times from my starter pack
what the fuck

So you got level 2.5 master thief basically.
Can someone explain to me why we stretched out our Dojo so much? There are Hallways connected to Hallways connected to T connectors connecting to nowhere

It isn't complete, so there's a lot of dead ends.

What is up with those celery legs?

I made the background transparent but I can change it back to white if needed
How about a white logo on transparent background?
Red would look like shit on my color combinations.
Really, I already bought the clan emblem for plat..

^just my 2 minutes shit, I don't know photoshop-fu
Really guys, a coloured one will be very regrettable imo if you want to change colour scheme
But couldn't we have saved the resources used for all of those pointless hallways and just put something we need, like a Reactor or the Bio Lab, down instead?
The Obstacle Course area, should have a extra elevator so that you can go even higher for further expansion, like this:

I saw this title during the vote, but I definitely want to try it to see if it is any fun. Is the game's f2p system decent?
One if the best IMO.

You can get everything for free except from slots and colors. I'd say that is a good free-to-play-model.

Yep. It's a fun co-op game. There is no pay2win as everything in the store except for cosmetics and additional slots for warframes and weapons (so you can hold more) can be earned in-game. The game is pretty flexible when it comes to choosing your style of play. You are able to choose from three separate warframes at the start, each having their own unique set of abilities but you can earn new ones and swap it later on if you want.
When you first start out you're given 75 free platinum which is the pay-for currency in the game and everyone here, myself included, would recommend you spend that on additional weapon/warframe slots.
So I just hang around for a bit on an infested mission whilst someone went to grab the datamass they forgot, after finishing and on the way to extraction I came across this bunch.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/DMHExEM.jpg[/t]
The whole room was full of them and it was a fairly big room :v:
Needless to say I used Nova's ult which caused warframe to crash :-/
It was like all the infested that spawned throughout the game got stuck in there.
So, they're making the Golem huge?
