Ok guys here is your chance to have your say! Here is my proposal for a complete redesign of the north (research) area of the dojo.
I've tried to explain this as well as I possibly can so that the clan as a group can make an informed decision!

From beginning the renovation, it will take approximately 1 day to demolish existing features. It will then be [b]4 days until the biolab is available[/b], and approximately [b]5 days until all labs are available again[/b].
Why I want to do this extensive change?
[u]Pros:[/u]
• [b]Efficiency:[/b] 40% fewer corridors than our current design and [b]60% fewer corridors[/b] than our original plan. This means the redesign is [i]profitable[/i] and we will have resources in the vault left over.
• [b]Convenience:[/b] The labs are grouped together far better, the furthest lab requiring you to travel only 3 units from the clan hall (previously 7 units for the chem lab).
• [b]Grand Hall:[/b] We eventually need to build this to support our population (up to 300 tenno), this layout provides a convenient place for it. This is important since it is possible to spawn in the grand hall and it should not be too far from the functional rooms.
[u]Cons:[/u]
• [b]Time:[/b] The biolab feels the pain again. I've placed it so it will be the first lab built, but it will still be [b]4-5 days before it is functioning.[/b]
• [b]Symmetry Compromise:[/b] You'll notice that the Oracle is placed alongside the other labs, however it does look slightly different, annoying to only the most OCD among us.
There's a couple of variations possible on this design:
• Grand Hall Location: The grand hall could instead be placed up the elevator. This will allow for gradual expansion southwards to meet with elevator in the south wing.
• Lab and reactor build order: Obviously this can be changed to suit aesthetic preferences (eg labs first, then reactors, or reactors first, then labs).
So now you get to make a choice, here's the pole:

I've already looked into this, according to a few people on the official forums it doesn't reset the research, but no 'official' word I guess
I might make a thread to ask on there just to be sure
better buy all the blueprints you need to be on the safe side then.
Goddamnit I just solo'd Vor and got a shitton of stuff (including a Seer receiver blueprint) and I had to abort because the mission glitched, Grineer went under the level and the goal marker pointed to some far off point way outside the map.

if the marker ever points outside of the map just keep following the trail of enemies and you'll eventually reach the extraction point. happened to me multiple times and every time i was able to follow the enemy spawns and reach the extraction.

Okay, so after 50+ hours I just couldn't fucking do it anymore
I bought banshee using plat, I never want to look at xini again. Feels bad that I caved in and so that was effectively 50+ hours of completely and utterly wasted time, but I look forward to actually playing the game again now. I've fallen so far behind on new content because 100% of my time was just spent farming xini.

iirc you can't build to the side of the starting hall, so those two reactors can't be there. Seen a video about that but it was soon after the first dojo update, it might've changed.

The icons to the right don't look too similar. Sure, they are the same length, but I guess that don't matter too much in this case.
