I remember seeing dead eye in the user suggested mods thread a while back.
I think it just increases your fov zoom when aiming.

Isn't trading only going to be mods? I remember the developers saying that they didn't want new people to be able to get everything from the start, mostly because it would eliminate any reason to spend money on the game and make it get boring quicker.

Exactly! If the game runs on real economy, then it's already risky to let players create their own economy.
DE are relatively new to making free-to-play games, so I respect their choice of keeping players on a leash with stuff like this.

New players need to suffer like we did. It's only when you're doing defense and you're up against level 30 infested with a braton mk-1 with convulsion and a skana do you understand powerlessness
