In the livestreams DE Steve was saying how Valve wants them to put in proper trading, not this mod blind exchange that is coming. I think that this is just the first step and that a full trading system will come eventually, its just a matter of time.
If trading ever gets added I think they wont allow you to trade guns but maybe blueprints at tops.
