I don't think it has that either.
doesn't matter whether it has either, armor piercing is better than armor ignore anyways so Paris falls short regardless, as a dread with AP damage will still surpass a Paris with the same amount of AP damage.
The only thing the dread is good at is having big damage numbers with better crit damage. Paris is better though because consistancy beats potential, until crit chance is changed in this game.
I just had a piece of shit vauban let me die because he was bouncing my body around not letting anyone revive me.
I honestly think that shit should get people banned, nobody likes those guys.
Also ran like 4 Eris missions, didn't even get many plastids. The great plastid famine of 2013 is upon us.
I've accidentally thrown a vortex on a few teammates and made it really hard to revive them. They never actually did die because I always revived them, the shame would be too much to bare

Wait for an enemy or player to come over and open it for you. I really hate that bug.

there is a dera sticking out of the door.
i just abandoned the mission and did it again, didnt even get suprise objective this time.
The Dread/Paris debate is a tough one to judge, as an owner of both I find them to be on about equal footing but I generally prefer the Paris. Dread tends to work much better than Paris against Infested though, in part because infested don't wear armour and also because apparently the Dread arrows count as blade attacks which non-ancient infested take 3x damage from, and Ancients seem to stagger from Dread much more often than from Paris. Dread falls short against Grineer and Corpus though, it pretty much demands a high-level armour piercing mod in order to be effective later in the game unless you only ever fight Infested.
Ultimately, I think the most important choice boils down to whether you feel like seeing enemies fly across the room and get pinned to walls, or have portions of their body get cleaved off with precision.
After grinding out a hundred shitty weapons without potatos, finally made it to mastery rank 6. Ogris is cooking right now. Sofa king excited.

That's if you're using it wrong. Paris armor ignore means you can mod it for damage and have it consistently be good whether it's charged or not. You don't even need crit on it. Just aim at a dude and shoot.
Dread however suffers from being mitigated by armor. The best way to even the odds against the paris is to mod a dread for crit damage. That way you take advantage of the higher charge damage and output more damage than the paris. However, the biggest disadvantage is that you'll have to be aiming for the head a lot, lowering your overall DPS in exchange for high burst damage.
Is there any point in ciphers at all? Hacking is hardly a mind bending challenge.

Well if you're like really, REALLY lazy but then you could just let your teammates do it at that point.
Is the Cronus a worthy upgrade from the Skana for someone who doesn't really melee all that much
Is the Cronus a worthy upgrade from the Skana for someone who doesn't really melee all that much
Cronus is a direct upgrade from the skana and it doesn't require much to build it. I'd definitely recommend it.
It's such a small upgrade I don't think it's worth the resources/12 hours to craft it. Especially if you don't melee that much.

+10 damage, faster charge time, and a decent increase in attack speed.
I don't see why you wouldn't build it.

i think the only use cyphers have is the second wave of one mastery test.
even then it is easy though.
When the game was in cb all I used to do was melee. Really.
felt also easier because silly AI and very few things could stun / stagger / make you fall.

Melee even with the buff in the recent patch still feels so lacking. I'd rather hope for the grapple hook and use it for the utility, heck I'm just Zorencoptering as it is now.

I miss having 8k shields and 5k health while doing 7k damage per swing.

Back before all the fancy clantech weapons were out, I used to just rush everything with the Fragor.
Something satisfying about smashing the Grineer with a Radiator on a Stick

It's pretty much a must on rhino.
I disagree you guys, you can put out waaaay more damage with melee than any ranged weapon
I disagree you guys, you can put out waaaay more damage with melee than any ranged weapon
eh, not in burst damage. One shot from my Ogris will take down a tier 2 tower ancient/heavy gunner whilst a fragor takes 5-7 hits.

only because ogris is the most overpowered thing in any game ever
ogris is balanced, it's just that all other weapons sucks balls

all the +80% melee damage mods for warframe stacked.. good times, good times.
Maxed attack speed on heat sword made you look like you were suffering from an epileptic seizure
[editline]6th August 2013[/editline]
Was also amazing against everything, you could solo the xini defence mission with that thing

What do y'all think of the Hikou? Any reason to take it over Despair?
