Unless it's like the Prime Excalibur who has a slight advantage over the regular excalibur like the additional polarity slot and pre-potato'd, slightly faster shield regen too I believe.

though the extra polarity slot is actually a disadvantage considering they're both "V"s and only Focus is useful for Excalibur :v

Okay so during a mission we did a host migration, and then suddenly my melee is all messed up. Like, I'm not pulling out my blade, [I]i'm beating them with my latron with an attack speed rivaling dual daggers.[/I] It was so ridiculous that I was stunlocking disruptors and killing HOARDS of infected with them being unable to even move.
Then i swapped weapons and it went back to normal. -whew-

Anyways, I'm kind of pissed with the whole frost prime thingy since I just crafted frost just a couple of days ago, and I just might have to farm everything again, but I love frost so I can pass that.
It's just nice of the team to give something away completely for free on what was supposed to be store only, some people are complaining about it but that is okay, I think the devs are new to this free-to-play genre and they are doing it very well, better than most of other devs do, I also think that it is an beta, and that gives them the right to experiment as much as they can while they have the chance.
Also it would be nice to have prime warframes as some sort of ultra end-game goal.

Once I learned this I literally spent the rest of my night getting to Europa. I think I killed at least two. I guess I'll find out in 8 hours.
