The cronus is the most honorable and graceful weapon the game. It's fine crafting allows it to cut through solid steel.

You make it out like the Dark Sword somehow suffers from having a catalyst compared to other weapons. If you take, say, a Gram and a Dark Sword, give them both potatoes, give them all the same mods, then yeah the Gram will do 1500 damage in a single swing because it has a little more base damage. But then the Dark Sword at that point can pull off 2 stabs for 900 damage each in the time it takes to swing the Gram once, because Reflex Coil is going to do the same thing to Dark Sword as it will to Gram: make it a lot faster than it normally is. And the Dark Sword is already a lot faster normally than Gram.
I dunno why you couldn't just say something like "Reaper Prime is probably a better choice" instead of trying to convince people that one of the game's better weapons sucks without giving any coherent evidence as to why it does.
Look, all I wanted was something to level, I didn't want the best melee weapon in the game. If I did want the "best" melee weapon, I'd have to farm void keys, which is much more boring than leveling two builds at once.

off the top of my head I can tell you the furax is objectively better, it has higher dps when using charge attacks, deals armour ignore damage and has a higher crit chance
now usually I'm all about fun > effectiveness, but longswords are just plain boring so there's really no reason to use it

God damn, just lasted 56 minutes in a survival game and reached the point where all the enemies were level 180 and a full 90-round mag from my pimped out Boltor couldn't take down a single crewman
At that point an effective strategy is to use vauban's vortex and an AOE weapon like torid, given that you have enough oxygen to survive the time it takes for them to die.

It's kinda weird being on the research weapons, all I really have left is to build the Acrid, and pray that either the Stalker drops despair or the void drops the right parts and then I'll be pretty much done with everything I ever wanted with the game. That's pretty upsetting.

Does anybody know how often Rhino drops? I've seriously been through Fossa so many times it's like a old friend that you lost contact with so every time you see it it's like "heeeey....you..." and now it always bothers you and steals from your fridge.
