Yeah, don't nerf a ludicrously OP gun that isn't readily available to the game's community. [editline]5th September 2013[/editline] And don't give me that "It's PVE being OP doesn't matter!!!!" bullshit. I hate it when people say that. It's not fun getting paired with a guy who can obliterate everything before you can do anything. [editline]5th September 2013[/editline] The damage system rework they're planning better fix some of this. This game has too many OP and useless weapons.
Don't ask them to nerf it, ask them to buff everything up to its level. :v:
Its like DE has no idea how to balance, and the game is just riddled with power-creep. I hope that's because its in "beta" because it's seriously the game's largest flaw. Every time they do this shit it just turns me off of the game even more.
Its bullshit that they made a weapon that's a straight upgrade to its basic counterpart and the best in its weapon class into an event-exclusive reward without giving any confirmation as to whether or not it will be available at a later date. Offering a weapon that's THAT powerful and taking out the ability to get it is just not fair to people like me who had shit to do over the weekend. And its not just weapons, they did it with mods. Game's not pay to win, but it sure as hell is event to win. [editline]5th September 2013[/editline] Like I said this game just pisses me the fuck off some times... I love it but the devs are just so content to do stupid shit and the people on the forums are too biased to point out any flaws.
I do wonder what they're going to do about all these rare weapons and items when the game releases on PS4. It's going to turn a lot of new players off if they can't get a ton of good shit because they were late to the game
If these are recurring events like a lot of MMOs do, that's fine but if these are one time things that's fucking bullshit.
I feel so bad for new players. There is no indication of what's useful or what should be used. Or [I]anything[/I] about the armour system at all, and how important armour piercing is. Or some of the bosses, considering that, for lower level players, it sometimes looks like you're doing nothing at all. E.G. Whatever that boss is that has the nitrogen pack. It doesn't look like you're even damaging anything about him until you do some unknown amount of damage to him so that his pack shows damage. I'm not asking for the game to handhold people to an extreme extent, but Jeeze, some conveyance AT ALL would be great. There is so much info the basic player would not know that I barely do because I've read pretty much every post on the subreddit, or forum, or wiki discussion.

IMO every "event" weapon should be given an alert like a week or two after the event. The event version being superior only because it comes with a free wep slot and a free potato

You're not allowed to actually make threads in there, the only real influence it has is is naming things/ voting on predetermined options that the devs put up.
I am so worried about the trinity nerf, the energy vampire + link is her only mean to survive, given that at level 30 she's got 300shields, 300hp and 10armor, having a damage reduction istead of ignore will make her utter shit. [editline]6th September 2013[/editline] they either double her hp/shields and give her ten times the armor or straight up remove link, there's no reason to have a damage mitigation on such a frail charachter.

Update notes. CHANGES: Ember: Fireball: Fixed the damage-over-time (DOT) attaching to the target. Increased the damage amount and damage over time. Fire Skin: Fire skin is now an offensive power rather than a defensive power. Reduced damage resistance and increased the damage output. Warframe strength mods now modify the damage amount. Fire Blast: Fixed scaling problem, mesh scaled but the damage wall never did. Range mods no longer affect Fire blast, Duration and strength mods do. Mag: Pull: Change damage type to use ragdolls for the pulling instead of sliding. Increased amount of damage dealt. Should be more in-line with other Warframe powers now. Shield Polarize: Radial damage that is dealt when shields are removed is now scaled based on fusion level. Bullet Attractor: Added damage multiplier on the targeted enemy, making ability much more deadly. Crush: Damage timing changes. Trinity: Well of Life: Now plays reaction animation, Life is 10x multiplied allowing players to leech enough health out. Energy Vampire: Now plays reaction animation and doesn't require damage to get energy. Instead target radiates a set amount of energy every couple of seconds. Also does damage to the target (Damage scales with strength mod). Link: No longer damage immunity--changed to damage reduction, now links to several targets at once amplifying the incoming damage. Increased radius search for link targets. Blessing: Anim speed changes and timing. No longer wait until end of casting animation to get power effects. Vauban: Bastille: Ability now has a set number of targets. 6-8-10-12 Vortex: No longer affects other players. Nyx: Psychic Daggers: Projectiles now seek and fly faster, more in line with other Warframes. Absorb: Ability now has higher base damage and should attract more attention. General: Energy color tinting for Vauban’s Tesla and Vortex abilities. Energy color tinting for Nova Antimatter Drop ability. Torid now uses energy color. Paris Prime texture improvements. New death animation for Mag’s Crush ability. Volt’s Speed ability trail FX now last the duration of the power. Added some new ambient sounds to Grineer Settlement levels. Updated sounds for Mag’s abilities. Updated sound for Trinity’s Well of Life ability. Vauban’s Tesla ability now has reduced FX on projectiles attached to players. Is there no clear best heavy melee? Edit: Didn't see there was a new page. Is Orthos really the best or do you just like it that much? :P
Its pretty much one of the best options for melee in the game. Especially if its built for charge damage. Its base damage is low compared to other heavies, but it attacks quickly, and it has very very high charge damage. It also has long range to it. It really doesn't matter that much what you choose as long as you have fun with it. Almost every weapon is viable.

You can adjust HUD margins now, so no more tiny boxes in the corner of your screen. Also gear items stack completely now so you can have all your ammo type packs and all ciphers take up one spot each. But they're retiring ammo packs and health restores in 9 days and they still haven't implemented the ability to buy/sell in bulk.
Vortex no longer affects other players? Aw. I used that a lot to help get pals up to higher places.
What's better now the Strun Wraith or is the Hek still king in terms of raw damage.

Uh guys, I did the survival event thingy for over 20 mins, but I didnt get anything, because I think the host changed, should I do something?I want the shotgun so badly
