Wow im not even touching the Derelicts until the price is lowered, its just way too fucking stupid now.
One 45 minute derelict run where two of us got permanently stuck... All for 2 golem navs. [editline]14th September 2013[/editline] At least the derelict set looks pretty
Hosting first Clan Golem run, lets hope this goes well. Well it dropped a Nekros BP as a final reward instead of a boss drop, so I would guess that its 100% drop rate of something. And each part of the boss drops a mod, and the full Golem himself does as well.
I was hoping this update would give me more of a reason to play this game... Now I just have more of a reason to quit.
Super disappointed here. As you may have noticed, the new Orikin Derelict tileset is nowhere to be found on any planet. To access them, you have to buy new key blueprint on the market, one for each mission type (including assassination). Additionally, you cannot craft these keys with normally acquired resources. Each key requires 5 'nav coordinates', as well as 10,000 nano spores, 5,000 salvage, and 500 tubes. AND they take 6 hours to craft!
Looks like my days of whoring myself out in the Recruitment channel aren't over yet...
u10 in a nutshell:
I got 2 Nekros parts from 2 Golem runs [editline]14th September 2013[/editline] Only need helmet now
Hotfix
- Grakata critical rate buff. - Added proper BP icons for Kama and Soma. - Fix for missing Bio Lab research component. - Adjustments to Derelict Key recipes: lowered build times and adjusted resource requirements. (Note: Blueprints currently in progress will experience a UI bug with negative percentage.) - Fix for certain Asian languages text not appearing. - Fix for sentinels attacking owner in The Conclave. - Fix for stumbles in Sound Quake. - Fix for broken texture in connector. - Fix for Miasma not dealing correct damage.
https://forums.warframe.com/index.php?/topic/105954-hotfix-1001/ I still dont want to touch this update.
They really only reduced the Circuits cost for the keys, but by an immense amount. i.e. Assassination orginally costed 3000 Circuits, now it's only 100. All of them still cost 5000 Ferrite or Salvage except the Survival one which costs 9000 salvage.
ok wow. the new stamina system is shit. now we have asthmatic "ninjas". i know real asthmatics who can run longer than my rhino now.
Wow, they've immediately made me not give a shit about an update. Great job DE.
I hope the carrier has a shotgun or something. Force gun, maybe?
Called it!
torid shots no longer hurt owner wyrm radial stun now knocks shit down much happiness
They made it so you can't equip a mod to your own weapon and also to your sentinel weapon though. Dislike.
The new arsenal screen looks great, but they sort of forgot to include exp bars
Went ahead and got nekro because fuck grinding that. Pretty interesting frame, but I've gotten into the habit of labeling it the 'spoopmancer' for some odd reason. Anyways, the polarities are alright, one attack one defense (which really helps because nekro has NO HP AND DIES LIKE A FLOWER PEDAL), and the abilities are mostly useful. Soul punch just banishes things to the shadow realm with all the other ragdolled mobs, terrify's a good AOE to keep things away from the objective, and desecrate is... Eh. You can burn corpses for goodies so long as someone else hasn't blown them to smithereens. But the fourth ability, the power to raise hordes of zombies/shadow souls, is pretty damn awesome I have to say. it's interesting slaughtering a mob of infested then bringing them back as shadow beasts to consume their former allies. but anywho, the abilities are pretty bugged as is normal update status, so I'll give it a couple days to iron out the kinks. Scarves, by the way, aren't worth the 50 plat. They don't seem like much of a change.
Remember the day where a user here said that they would add an ak 47? well... http://warframe.wikia.com/wiki/Soma
Remember the day where a user here said that they would add an ak 47? well... http://warframe.wikia.com/wiki/Soma
That's really kind of a stretch to call that an AK-47.
The thing I hate about Void is that I don't wanna farm a mission just to get a chance at farming another mission for a chance of getting the blueprint of the part that I want.
the infested void thing is kind of a letdown, but I'll try not to bother for now. In a couple of days people will be drowning in nav coordinate balls and the recruit channel will be flooded with keys. [editline]14th September 2013[/editline] In the meantime I hope scarves are put into the alert system.
I was kind of excited to get home from work and check out the new update. I was looking forward to seeing the new golem on jupiter, and getting BP parts for Nekro on top of it. But nope, DE decided that the "new" golem wasn't actually going to replace the placeholder piece of shit, it was going to sit behind the same wall the void does. Grind for mats to make a key to grind for parts. Thanks DE. When people complained about the RNG not being terribly fun, it was definitely because they wanted to have to grind out materials and wait for a key to craft before they could even get a crack at the RNG. I suppose it was too much to hope that the golem revamp they were teasing would actually revamp the golem and infested missions would take place on the derelict tileset instead of other tilesets with some infested scenery thrown around, but nope, most of the content of the update was plopped right behind a wall of resources, crafting times, and the RNG.
So I haven't been playing for a month or two, so explain this to me: If I have one copy of a mod, I can install it on all frames now? Is that correct?
So I haven't been playing for a month or two, so explain this to me: If I have one copy of a mod, I can install it on all frames now? Is that correct?
Yes, but if you have a sentinel rifle has a mod then your rifle can't have the same mod equipped.
I took a gander at the Synapse's (Infested rifle) description- "Powered by a bio-chemical reaction, the infested SYNAPSE rifle fries it's targets with a steady stream of electricity." Electricity stream? ELECTRICITY STREAM? Why not a Corpus weapon? Why not make it shoot boney spikes? Or, keeping the flamethrower-esque schtick, why not make it fire bile or something else gross? (Though I think that's what the pistol does.) Also the Dakka Prime is a sword, not a machine gun. 0/10 update would not farm
Why does DE put two check polarities on some frames? There's only three fucking frame mods with that polarity and they're all rare. [sp]oh you motherfuckers you want me to buy forma[/sp] [sp]fuck no[/sp]
Oh hey neat. [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/12654117/2013-09-14_00001.jpg[/t]
So what's the difference between the "Normal" Derelict Keys? Is it just different missions? Because I haven't gotten any rewards for doing the missions so far
So what's the difference between the "Normal" Derelict Keys? Is it just different missions? Because I haven't gotten any rewards for doing the missions so far
You can find Golem location orbs from Derlict missions. [editline]14th September 2013[/editline] Or you can use your nav orbs to make Derlict defence and get normal void keys. [editline]14th September 2013[/editline] Also what scarf is best scarf?

I'm so pissed, I get stuck in a deathtrap and I can't crawl to safety after going down.
