That's not answering my question though, I asked what the difference between the "normal" Derelict keys, like the "Capture" and "Extermination" keys.
Only the mission type. Derelict's "reward" is Golem Nav Coordinates which randomly drop when you smash crates/open lockers in Derelict tile set. Capture and Extermination is the best choice to craft if you want to hunt for Nekros BP.
My biggest gripe with U10 is how they implemented the new tileset. I mean, look at the in-game description for Eris.
"The Infested are spreading throughout the Orokin derelicts in this region."
Yet, there are no Orikin Derelict missions on the planet, and instead, you have to grind for these dumb keys. I think DE really dropped the ball on this one. At least we got a lot of other cool stuff. Speaking of which, where are we gonna put the zen garden?
So basically, I woke up to download 446 MB of disappointment and grinding with a 10 KB/s rate. Edit: 12 B/s, that's 12 bytes per second.
Got Nekros Helmet. Then I got Nekros Systems. Then I got Nekros Helmet. Again. I guess it's gonna be one of those bosses.
they need to do something about the kestrel glitching bosses out

Would anyone care of I tag along on a golem mission or 4
So, did they not playtest their stamina changes? It's openly awful.
I hope they remove stamina altogether and turn everyone's stamina mods into fusion cores
I hope they remove stamina altogether and turn everyone's stamina mods into fusion cores
Fusion 10 rare cores.
I wouldn't say getting Nekros is grindy, I already got all the parts Unless you're playing alone then you're fucked.
It's the grindiest way to even get to the assassinate mission though.
So, did they not playtest their stamina changes? It's openly awful.
Ok I swear to god they made stamina regen not work anymore or something.
They added a delay, a huge delay, which sorta makes the stamina regen mods pointless. For a game that advertises being a super fast ninja game, they like to punish people for running and using melee weapons.
According to the wiki, neither ether reaper nor kama have serrated blade, despite the reaper being referred to as an ether weapon. I guess I wasted some resources just there...
Eh, I'm kinda dissappointed that the update is essentially grind to grind to grind to grind. And I mean that literally, Grind for parts for derelict, grind derelict for parts for "new" golem assassination, grind golem for nekros parts, and grind yet again for mats to build a nekros part, and then repeat the process. It just sounds tedious and boring as hell, even with people.
Have there been any ideas for how we're going to approach the new clantech? I'd say we go for the Sentinel first (and get the melee out the way), since the rifle and pistol look shitty.
Master Thief is a godsend for Derelict missions. Just did a capture with it and got 9 Golem navs.
OK, I just found a derelict vault, it is complete bullshit! Basically, me and my team entered through one of 3 doors. When we got through, we were presented with a platform which lead to some roots, which lead to a up streamy thing. So we thought "Ok, run up to the streamy thing, jump somewhere and proceed", we thought. This lead to us falling down a tunnel with a big fan of fuck you located on the other side. We were pushed by said fan to a flight of stairs leading to a door which would not open. [t]http://cloud-4.steampowered.com/ugc/634169281879803705/6279F9982578188EB4ED02390F5F4D4828E9C330/[/t] The only way to move toward the fan was to spam slide attack, which just got us stuck in roots or ended with us falling out of the map. There were no way to escape that room at all for us. I tried popping portals everywhere until I managed to get back on the upstreamy thingy, that's when I realized what you were supposed to do. The purpose was to go up the upstreamy thing, get on a root which was near the roof and located behind where you would be headed and follow it all the way as a ridiculous jumping puzzle to the end of the vault. There were no description of how this was the way to do it. The slightest mistake gets you down the fan area where you can't get out of. It's extremely frustrating, I can best describe it as the bestiality of game design. Here is the area you needed to get up to: [t]http://cloud-2.steampowered.com/ugc/634169281879806744/87621F7D8342B3602CEA46361B1B37554EED0194/[/t][t]http://cloud-2.steampowered.com/ugc/634169281879809171/36DC54BFB1CD5341064FC1A160E3A24075AB6BD5/[/t] After lots of trying, falling off, raging, waiting and portal popping, I managed to get to the last part. I was just above a safe and big patch of floor which I couldn't fall off. Just a simple jump could get me down there. I assumed this was the end and made myself ready for the jump. A message then appeared, saying "Lost connection, you will be returned to the multiplayer menu". Tets, I swear, if you quit the key I will hit you repetitively with my already broken keyboard. [del]I could get 3 golem testicles from that mission.[/del] Edit: Nevermind, I got them, I am a happy camper.
Can somebody explain this to me?
I want an explanation to why you would name a sword "DAKKA" and not a heavy machine gun
I was too harsh on this update I think. In retrospect, the grind isn't too bad. And a lot of the stuff they added is pretty cool. Really my only gripe is the stamina nerf. And damn, even though they can be a bit confusing to navigate/buggy, the Derelicts look AMAZING. I did a solo-run to just explore the map, and its wonderful. Lots of nooks and crannies, and all around very detailed. And when you're soloing it, surprisingly atmospheric. There are thing that need to be fixed of course, like various UI problems, and a couple of bug fixes, and things like that. But I guess it'll all be sorted out eventually. [editline]14th September 2013[/editline] Also scarf physics are just silly right now.
Where's the fastest place to get regular nav coords, so I can get golem coords from derelict missions?
Void missions. [editline]14th September 2013[/editline] And if you have Master Thief, use it. Navs only drop from lockers and containers, not as loot from enemies.
I'm having no problems with the Stamina changes as a Rhino with the Thrak helmet and no speed or stamina related mods. I can still beat faster frames to the end of a level. If you can't go faster than an asthmatic fat man it's not because of the stamina changes, it's because you never learned how to flip out like a ninja and you try to hobble everywhere on your fat legs instead. (looks like they went ahead and shitcanned the changes anyways, though)
Looks like nekro was easier to farm than I thought. I just joined 3 games and got helmet, chassis and systems. Now I just need some plastids and a couple of control modules for the systems and carrier. Then I just have to wait for research to be done.
Are the new infested stuff worth researching?
Huh, there was an Ignis buff.
Am I fashionable yet. And here's some shots of it in game. I thought this shot was pretty cool during a defense mission.
Also stamina system tweaks [editline]14th September 2013[/editline] https://forums.warframe.com/index.php?/topic/106722-hotfix-1003/
