Yeah, I blew the head right off a Corpus and then shredded his friend in half with the glaive.
It seems like they added some of the horrors of Chivalry: Medieval Warfare with for example a soldier who once had nerves of steel now look at the place his arm was supposed to be before falling over and bleeding to death. I also was amazed when a grineer guy's face suddenly disappeared and all that was left was his empty helmet.

Yeah, it felt silly prior to this using a war axe to hit someone with an overhead swing and bisect them. Now its just frigging awesome watching it all.
Best thing about it is you can now crouch and melee and gib corpses.
Nothing says fuck bushido honor code mumbo-jumbo like desacrating corpses.
If I buy the Glaive from the market, will it come pre-equipped with a catalyst? Because I don't feel like waiting for an alert, but that would be the deal-breaker on whether I actually buy it or not.
probably not, i think only special weapons (vandals) and bundles come with extra stuff like that.

Braton Vandal never came with one, and Warframes all come pre-equipped with reactors.

I love how you can now recolor the energy in trinity's helm and nyx arms. Default trinity is almost better looking than alt now.

At least your getting drops. 15th time trying to get Ash BP and I only have one BP of his systems and nothing else.
I got Frost and Rhino in about 5 runs each, I must just be really lucky. It wasn't until I was going for Ember that it started taking hours to get the BP parts.

I just had a strange dream about this game.
It included me playing in an infestation assassination alert mission with 3 other people, one of them being a mag, of course because they are everywhere now. I recognized the architecture in the mission as the interior of a corpus outpost. When we had gone after the mission marker for a while, lotus suddenly popped up and said "Warning, stalker [I]may[/I] be approaching. Wait, you sound different, sort of dark like... oh no" after that, she was replaced by a male announcer who babbled bullshit and sounded like Microsoft Sam. After that affair, which I in retrospect now realize made no sense whatsoever, we got to the mission marker. By that point, the map had blended over to being an office complex where we could see out of the windows that we were in some kind of north European-style city. The ceiling was covered in removable maintenance plates that office buildings usually have for ceilings, these were also destructible and gave us access to the hollow area inside the ceiling, which made stealth a lot more easy because there were no enemies in there. The mission marker had multiplied into about 4-6 markers which were all close to us and moving around, some even moved past us and attacking the place they were supposed to be ended with it revealing itself to be something sort of like the stalker. It pretty much looked like a rhino and instead of being black and red, it was black and white. I remember the mission being extremely hard and buggy, whereas the AI fucked up or some of the stalker-rhino-things disappeared completely. I woke up before the mission ended, so I don't know what happened after the fight, but I do think some of the content of this dream could fit into the real game. Of course, I don't think most players would find such a mission to be easy, but people would do anything for a potato these days.
TL;DR: I had a dream that I was doing an alert which included killing invisible rhino stalkers in an office. The lotus stopped making sense half-way through and was replaced by a guy who sounded like Microsoft Sam.

I just got an Ash Helmet BP the mission right after I got the Ash Chassis BP.

Anyway, now the only thing that stands between me and Ash is a Neural Sensor, a Control Module and 3 and a half days. I don't have a reactor for it yet, but that's not an issue considering there's likely to be a drop soon. Worst case scenario, leveling up my Mag will give me something to do until the next potato alert.
These new gore effects are downright brutal. I just sliced the arm off a Corpus crewmen, then watched as he writhed on the ground clutching his stump. Then, I cleaved another one diagonally in half with my axe, and as I looked on, I noticed the top half of his body trying to crawl away before expiring.
All they wanted was to be friends with Mister Robot.
Well, looks like I'm paying the price for calling the RNG a bitch. Those Neural Sensors won't drop!

I shot a crewman with my kraken, blowing his arm off, he dropped to his knees and flopped forward, it looked kind of like one of the kill animations from [url=http://youtu.be/PjbaWD-Aj6Y?t=6s]Fallout 1&2[/url].
It makes me so mad to see a glaive go around an enemy when it's returning. I get a bunch of enemies lined up only to see the glaive go around them instead of going through them.
