I've been getting a rather alarming number of red crits with the thing, even without crit chance upgraded
It's also great being able to still 1-shot level 80 light infested just by charging it up, even with the sword really low

The process of getting the Banshee BP parts is a demonstration of just how fucked up the RNG is. Good luck getting the helmet.

Build it for charge damage and it'll be versatile, or build it for normal damage and attack speed to wreck infesteds.

I think they changed some stuff with how the Banshee BP parts drop, it used to be the way to get chassis/systems was to do certain mission types. It might still work that way, I don't know. The helmet was painful as hell to get though.
Sorry for newbie questions. I just got a Dread blueprint and I can make it. I have a nice level 30 Strun and im reading up on the Dread with its pros vs cons. Would it be worth using?

Its just incredibly stupid how stealth attacks aren't one hit kills. Making them utterly pointless, as once you finish the attack, the enemy, and every enmey in the room knows where you are.

Actually you've got about a 1 second grace period to kill something. Not useful for the dread, but despair gives zero shits.

It would be incredibly unbalanced if you could. A rank 1 warframe instakills a rank 120 corrupted

Not really.
You cant preform stealth kills after being detected, and picking enemies off one by one is not only incredibly slow, its also pretty hard to do with how maps are laid out.
What Im saying is, one shotting a single mook ins't overpowered. Besides we have weapons that take things out faster than sneaking up behding an enemy and doing a stealth kill.
And one more thing, is forma obtainable via gameplay, or just platnium purchase/login reward?
Void Survival can give you a lot of Forma blueprints.

Barrel diffusion is pretty much crucial, but lethal torrent will suffice until you find a BarrelDiffusion and it's easier to get. Run a couple of nightmare mode missions, you'll find Lethal torrent eventually.
the holy trinity Hornet strike, barrel diffusion & lethal torrent would be perfect for it- and thanks to the two V polarities you can have all 3 maxed without needing orokin tubers

Hmm, wiki is unclear. Do Nightmare mission modifiers roll per day, per mission, or per attempt? I know what missions it's on rolls every day, and you can run the same one multiple times for different rewards, but I'm not sure about the modifiers themselves.

Per attempt
It's per attempt. just look for the skull symbols, preferably a Boss battle or extermination.
Doesn't even matter though you'll get no shields/no energy 80% of the time

They roll per attempt. Each time you do a nightmare mission- even the same mission over and over again- the reward and modifiers will change, faction and objective won't.
