I remember hearing about how adding incentives makes people hate their jobs, because it just becomes something in the way of getting the incentives. Maybe that's the same thing?
Got sick of grinding, tried playing for fun. Didn't have any fun because core gameplay isn't great. Quit.
Then you wait for update, play for a day, realize you need to grind to get new stuff and you're back in the cycle again
imo the gameplay is good, but because they focus too much on how to grind rather than how to play there's too little change to make playing for fun viable, so you're obligated to focus on the grind instead because it has more thought paid to it. it would be way more fun if they just mixed it up more with like a really interesting tileset or something. like, zero-gravity or lots of environmental hazards.
Hahaha, I haven't played for a few months and I came back the other day on a whim, and immediately went to go fight Vor thinking he would be the same pushover he always was. My team consisted of one afk and two Brazilians who had a ping of well over 300. My unranked Excalibur got fucking wrecked alone. IT. WAS. AWESOME. when did they change him? Have they changed other bosses too? Also I realized I have a rank 16 volt too, is it useful, or should I focus on leveling Excalibur?

What are you guys doing, running around with your slow rhinos? If you want a tank, you only need two mods: Quick thinking and rage. Also, I haven't been able to play because a new huge update came out for Terraria, which I am finding a lot more enjoyable at the moment. Don't be surprised if I'm not back after about half a year.
So i got Dread from killing the Stalker, is it any good?
And that only matters if you're a masochist that actually enjoys high level defense. [editline]7th October 2013[/editline] I used to wonder, then I realized I never would.
Wroooonguh. Every aura alert and alt helmet alert and one neural sensor alert in the past four days has been over level 100 except two.
If that were true, everyone playing at that level would be dead in one hit. :v:
I'll let you take a guess how many revives I did that particular mission. ;) (it was more than one)
Forma your aura slot then.
Best choice right here, and it gives you fourteen free points and an inherent free boost to whatever. (energy siphon is an obvious choice)
So i got Dread from killing the Stalker, is it any good?
It isn't usually regarded as good because of the fire rate, but it's fun to use. [editline]7th October 2013[/editline]
Wroooonguh. Every aura alert and alt helmet alert and one neural sensor alert in the past four days has been over level 100 except two.
Oh I'm sorry I missed the handful of missions that are ridiculously high level because DE is insane. For general gameplay iron skin is fine because you don't have level 90 enemies running around.
While testing my new Broncos I realized that I overdid it with stretch. [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/13086361/FP/2013-10-07_00004.jpg[/t]
Event on Apollodrus where you encounter Jackal, get a Plasma Sword blueprint.
Raknis helmet built, Frost Prime in the oven, Mastery Rank 7 get. Today was a good day. [editline]7th October 2013[/editline] I miss having people to talk to. :c [editline]7th October 2013[/editline] [sp]jk i never talked to anyone anyway[/sp]
How to play warframe. 1. Login 2. Claim Forma 3. Build Forma 4. Log out.
Iron Skin goes down in TWO dera shots on level 90+. [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/16768161/Warframe 2013-10-06 22-36-50-89.jpg[/t]
Normally I have some sort of odd OCD-hate reaction to seeing people put anything besides their powers in the 4 corner slots. But damn that build is impressive.
Play T3 void stuff, you have a pretty decent chance of getting a forma BP. [editline]8th October 2013[/editline] To excal, on the last page, before a certain person ruined it.
Wish I had forma...
Ten minutes of TIII Survival is pretty much a guaranteed Forma.

The grind just sort of solved itself somewhere during those 330 hours. As long as they keep letting me run around on the walls and frontflip across the map at a moment's reflex, I'll keep playing this game. That shit has some serious therapeutic effects for my stress.

It's not even a grind, it's a grind with a lottery system; the most rng thing rnGeezus ever developed before he went to that great Indian Casino in the Sky. DE themselves have stated they aren't happy with progression and rewards, but the simple fact is the system they have keep butts in seats; so while it will eventually go away, it won't be any time soon.
If you have rage and equilibrium, wouldn't you wanna go steel charge?

Also, they've nerfed every other rage combo, so I would enjoy it while it lasts. It's great for sub 70 stuff and allows you to keep all your power spam mods, but it is actually situational, and certain infested and grineer match ups will do enough damage to drain your energy over level 70.

I just make sure to go near a toxic ancient when I'm low on health, then I can "die" without risking to be out-DPSed.
Tenno, As infestation spread across the Solar System, Orokin Ships unable to make the jump to the Void locked down Vault rooms to preserve the valuable artifacts within. A number of these Orokin Vaults have been located in the Orokin Derelicts. Are you worthy of the hidden treasures within these Vaults? New Corrupted Mods can be discovered here. It will take diligence and cooperation with your fellow Tenno. To guarantee access to these Orokin Ships, you and your fellow Tenno will need to carry one of each of the four different Corrupted Orokin Vault Keys -- known as Dragon Keys -- into the Derelicts. Blueprints await you in the Market. Once created, equip your Dragon Key as you would any other mission gear. Because these keys are so powerful, you can only equip one at a time. Be cautious. Each key has debilitating effects on Warframes. When you find an Orokin Vault, only the CORRESPONDING Key will open the door. Team up with fellow Tenno, each with a different key, to guarantee your entry into the Vaults. It won't be easy, Tenno, the rewards will not come without cost. Corrupted Mods offer great benefits but also bring negative effects and will need to be applied wisely. Prepare by gathering your fellow Tenno to work together to ensure your success. - The Lotus
corrupted mods are a cool idea [editline]9th October 2013[/editline] imagine a pure debuff mod that gives you points
Nevermind, on the forums it says it is not an Event.
More farming...yay....
I was hoping they'd add +/- mods so hooray
