I like the new dojo theme. Looks clean, modern and well lit, unlike the old theme.
Dueling room's incense holder and statue looks out of place though, and banners/flags are stiff.
The Dera sounds cool again they really need to stop updating the fire sound

I run as nekro, spoil desecrate everyone and their grandmas, with Master Thief so I also loot more and my mutagen gain is still low as ass. It's not us, it's DE overshooting requirements to outer space.

Pick up a Carrier, max out Vacuum and program it so it prioritises Vacuum over everything?
I have one and I tend to accidentally end up with like 170 Plastids or 2980 Ferrite at the end of a level without even trying to pick anything up.
Can't say I've ever tested that specifically with mutagen, though. I haven't tried to farm any since the derelicts update because I haven't needed it for anything.
Running around with a kogake and a lato to Snake Eater is the most satisfying shit ever.
I'm also drinking a lot.

Also I built a viper, and while it seems cool it is also pretty weak. Is there any way I can beef up the damage so it isn't so damn wimpy?
Alternatively, is there a secondary weapon I should prioritize building? I was thinking about the kunai or the seer, but I'm just not sure what I should start with.
Start with what you like before you get all jaded from power creepitis and literally ground out.

Look for a No Return or Hornet Strike mod. No Return adds armour-piercing damage, which tends to make a huge difference for most typical bullet-shooting guns since the Grineer are heavily armoured and the Corpus have those really strong helmets. Hornet Strike increases overall damage, and any mods like No Return or the ones that add fire/frost/shock damage will also benefit from it.
