it made a lot more sense way back in like update 5 when literally the only melee weapons you could get in the store were the dual skana, bo and furax
they were only supposed to tide you over before you could get a better weapon like heat sword from an alert

It make sense if there was some sort of balance between weapons.

I hope this will be addressed whenever they decide to release that Vor's Prize episode thing that's in the lore menu. I have a feeling that it could be added when the PS4 releases because they need some sort of story element to keep people interested.

They also need to be able to compete with Destiny. From what I've seen, it's similar to Warframe and people are going to jump ship and play that instead if it ends up doing everything and better than warframe does. I'm not saying they're the same game but there's going to be 2 games about ancient super-powered guardians in supersuits

Destiny isn't coming to pc AFAIK, so they won't be hurting warframe on the PC much.

I thought it was coming out for everything? Either way they need to compete with it on PS4. Being one of the launch titles and one that everyone with a connection will be able to play, they have to make a strong impression on them.
I just thought of something. Y'all call it "formaing" but given the advanced tech and such, wouldn't it technically be better to say "formatting"?

They want to port it to PC, but they're focused on getting it out on consoles first

Warframe used to greet you with that whenever you first opened the chat after logging in. They've since replaced it with some generic one liner about not trolling in the chat or something, which is a damn shame.

I'm surprised anyone in the clan is playing at all. I tried to stick with this game but it seems like DE is more concerned with adding weapons that play up the power creep than addressing actual issues with the game.

I'd wait until the game officially launches before getting too cynical. The issues with the game are probably going to take far longer to even find a solution, let alone implement it, than it takes takes to design, model, and implement a new weapon, which isn't going to actually take much time out of finding said solution.
Just got heavy caliber. Probably going to take ages to max it out, I still haven't gotten around to fully upgrading my serration.
