I wanna upgrade serration to max, but it will literally break every build on almost every primary I own, and I'd have to forma pretty much everything for those builds to work again.
Crashtastic.
I just realized how much bullshit damage the Lanka could do with Heavy Caliber and Serration.
Well, it's not all that much, the +damage from heavy caliber and serration add together instead of multiplying, so adding heavy caliber would increase damage by about 60%
If you can't get flux, probably.
If you can get flux, get flux.
I asked if it's good for a side arm, not if the Flux Rifle is better.
DE should add an option for us to temporarily downgrade a mod for a specific weapon.
They said they would a few livestreams ago. It disappeared along with the grappling hook.
Holy shit nuggets crashed agian.
I asked if it's good for a side arm, not if the Flux Rifle is better.
Every time I ask that question I just get "acrid is better" as an answer.
It's basically crappy flux rifle used as a secondary. The damage is good, but the range is very short.
So my ember will be done in 2 days, my first frame, decided to go with Latron, bronco and dual ethers because I had no idea what to get honestly, hopefully it will work for the best! Sucked farming for all the materials but I was nice enough to have 3 people carry me for 40 minutes in a survival infestation mission to knock out 800 plastids!
Get the Soma, Vastos, and then galatine. Best loadout 2013
I think I have to be rank 3? to get the soma if I'm not mistaken I haven't played in a long time, I got in back when it was in closed beta and got bored really fast since there were only like 3-4 frames and not many weapons, now seems in the last year they've added a metric shitton of items and frames to the game.
They said they would a few livestreams ago. It disappeared along with the grappling hook.
The grapple hook would have been cool, but wouldn't you rather have recolors of the void that you can grind more materials in?
On the topic of the Heavy Caliber mod. I was lucky enough to get it from my first vault. It's absolutely disgusting on weapons that don't have any innate recoil such as Ignis, Flux Rifle, or Dera.
Get the Soma, Vastos, and then galatine. Best loadout 2013
I like twin gremlins best.
Dual vastos with magnum force.
Prepare to hit one thing.
I can't believe they're retiring the Gorgon.
It's a minigun, ffs.
Here's hoping we get another LMG-type-thing as a spiritual successor.

Gorgon vandal.
Actually, that makes almost no sense lore-wise.
Why do they retire weapons anyway?
Are they trying to scare people into buying weapon slots?

haha wtf??
what do they even gain by retiring weapons?
maybe the money has slowed down and they need to incite people to buy more slots/weapons.
good thing before i quit i got 4 gorgon bp's back to back in login rewards...
I'd wait until the game officially launches before getting too cynical. The issues with the game are probably going to take far longer to even find a solution, let alone implement it, than it takes takes to design, model, and implement a new weapon, which isn't going to actually take much time out of finding said solution.
DE have noted before that their main problem with Warframe has been retaining players, but their attempted solution to this has simply been to make everything take as much time as possible. First it was the increasing reliance on rare drops to craft items; then came the events which, while supposed to act as a break from normal grinding, were essentially periods of time wherein you could take part in multiple stages of grinding (corruptors, corpus void keys, etc). When I stopped playing (just after update 10), we were at the stage where forma was becoming necessary for most new weapons, Golem had been revamped but only accessible after yet more grinding for keys, and the core combat gameplay, the thing which consistently fails to hold people's attention after they've ground out an update's content, had barely changed.
Now, I agree; getting the game right will take time. However, I would have expected some significant improvements to gameplay since the end of closed beta. I would have thought that by this point, DE would have made it so people would want to play a standard mission not because they're trying to unlock a boss, not because they need more alloy plates, but because it's fun to do. As that has not changed at all since the beginning of open beta, and DE continue to churn out frankly underwhelming content to keep the playerbase grinding (and thus active), I find it hard not to be cynical.

I guess because it became obsolete with stuff like supra and soma.
Obsolete, yeah, but not exactly not viable or fun to dick around with.
I'd play more, but I'm currently enraptured with Pokemon Y. :v:
So this is my Soma right now. Getting pretty close to maxed, I think.

I could have saved a point if I had formad it with v instead of -, but oh well.
I'd forma it again just to max out the mods, but I'm pretty sure I don't have enough fusion cores to finish both serration and heavy caliber anyway.
Well, it's not all that much, the +damage from heavy caliber and serration add together instead of multiplying, so adding heavy caliber would increase damage by about 60%
+330% is a big deal on weapons with high initial damage, then you add the two Chamber mods on top of it and you're doing like 3000 a shot with lanka or Snidal, and that's not even with crit mods.

It's about the money. It's no coincidence that the day they ended the founder's program they instituted pretty ridiculous new forum rules on criticism and player complaining. I think they think the PS4 is somehow going to alleviate their cash and burnout issues, and they could not be more wrong, considering who they're going to be directly competing against.
I don't have a clue how to build on this
I just go "wow that looks cool" or "wow fire damage" and install it.
I'm using a Braton, Aklato and Mire
I just go "wow that looks cool" or "wow fire damage" and install it.
That's pretty much how it works for the most part, honestly. It's not what I would call an amazingly deep system.
Hint though: Any mods can be fused together, and Fusion Cores are like blank mods that can be fused into other mods.
Yeah I've been doing that.
Does attack speed go past 2 attacks per second?
I'm gonna buy those Dual Axes and get the attack speed mod
Yeah I've been doing that.

Yeah, some weapons attack way faster, especially dual ones or staff-type stuff like Orthos. Heavy weapons are slow, of course.
Awesome, so at 60% attack speed I should be doing like 3.1 attacks per second.
I asked if it's good for a side arm, not if the Flux Rifle is better.
Bit late, but I just made one lately. It's a lot of fun to be sure. The sound and the feeling of the gun are pretty cool, compared to a lot of other guns. I don't have a BarrelDiff mod yet and it does ok damage just with serration. If you are a fan of unconventional weapons that not a lot of people use definetly get one. I'm keeping it as a anti anchient weapon next to my Ignis on my spacejanitor.
