Well fun as is OH GOD WHAT IS GOING on, it was a uh infestation rescue/data retrieval I think it was no shields, energy is ticking down and all enemies upgraded, only died twice but got lots of loot, oh finally got a foma BP from an alert mission!

Yeah I found it weird as fuck that the nekros BP is 100k and it takes 3 cells and I heard it isn't even that good.
The ulti is okay from what I've seen but I've never seen anybody use anything else. From what I've heard though, in general, it's kinda meh
If all players kills counted toward the ulti, it would be amazing.

All soul punch has going for it is that it can't miss.
The rest of Nekros's skills aren't that useful. His ult is pretty underwhelming compared to what all the others ults can manage.

Telling people not datamine is only going to make people do it more.
I dunno, DE seems to have this idea of how they think things will go and act like children when it doesn't go that's way

Not sure really, I know Blizzard way back in WoW's early days was very anti-datamining, that and not many knew how, it wasn't til like later they realized that there isn't any stopping it and basically just allowed people, like a lot of other games have. They realized that its better to let it happen then wage an pointless legal battle over something that is going to continue in full force.
Overall the only reason I can think they may be doing this -tinfoilhat- is that they don't want people to know where blueprints drop, so they'll be more likely to buy platinum and buy from the shop. They may see datamining loot drops hurting sales or just afraid to have any backlash from the community on anything they do, which happens a lot in games where they allow datamining.
As if it didn't have problems with that already. S' why I put them on my shotgun loadout.

Most weapon (except Miter, TGremlins, and Glaive) BP are available in the market alongside platinum purchase option. Prime weapons are not purchasable from the market, the closest to it is Void key pack.
The stance on datamining might be on management level of DE. When we first got datamined info Scott said something about it in livestream, that he needed to answer to the management. Whether this is true or just a joke, I don't know. I'm hoping for the latter for this one. The way they're handling this situation reminds me of how Tiy is handling Starbound's "WHEN IS BETA?".
I've read some of the threads regarding datamined info and how the devs are ignoring it, and how some dev replied in a rude manner. Some things are more about (company) policy rather than not acknowledging errors (due to self-pride or accidental).For the dev, answering issues that they know breaks policy might brand them as a whistleblower. Consider external stuff like commitments (loan, family etc etc), are they going to risk it?
By pushing them to answer, you are similar to a paparazzi.
Now, DE have questionable design decisions:
1) Mastery ranking system where points are gained from each unique weapon/warframe ranks.
2) A progression limiter system that limits weapon/warframe choices according to mastery ranks.
3) Make an alternate version of unique weapon (instead of cosmetic) that won't be attainable after a certain timeframe, also make them better in most ways.
4) Take out old weapons from the game instead of tweaking it, therefore reducing the total amount of attainable points for those who didn't have it.
Its a good way to alienate and demoralize newer players, also a great way of telling Completionist players "Haha you found the game late too bad you won't EVER get maximum points attainable have fun".
