Other than the obvious "buy a booster" answer, I find leveling weapons on the map on Mercury where you fight Vor to speed things up. Its still slow, but in the process you encounter a huge amount of easy to kill enemies.

Paris and glaive make a pretty good combo, throw glaive at heads, while it flies pop someone else, rinse and repeat.

Not talking about weapons, I meant like... I don't know, I think I'm phrasing it wrong. Your overall level, where you have to do a test in order to progress to the next level? The thing that restricts you from getting some weapons?

To level that up you need to level up equipment (warframes/weapons). Getting to Rank 4 is the same as leveling up two Warframes to 25 and leveling 10 weapons to 30.

It's called Mastery.
You get 200 Mastery per Frame level up and 100 Mastery per Weapon level up.

Doing a rescue mission. No squads were doing it so I started alone, and I was doing great since my frame and weapon are massively overpowered for level 8 mobs.
It was a Corpus mission, so naturally lasers everywhere. The guy who rescued the prisoner went "hurr I'm gonna run all the way to extraction now!" and dies no more than two minutes later, and he's halfway across the map. I get to the conglomeration of Moas and crewmen, and suddenly "MISSION FAILED."
Fucking people. I should have just done it solo, I mean when 2 of my Braton shots kill a single Moa...

He got up to one of those rooms where you run up the stacked shit and jump into the vents
