So I don't understand, do we get unique rewards from picking either side?
I'm looking forward to the event tomorrow.
You're either helping the Corpus keep captured Tenno or giving the Grineeeeeeer a means to consolidate their hold on the inner planets completely.
I think helping the Grineer also has the added factor of actively pissing off the guy who holds the fate of some of our tenno bros in his hands. So I'm fairing sure we're all leaning towards helping the corpus.
Oh snap the event is tomorrow!?
I'm looking forward to the event tomorrow.
Hopefully it's not one of those badly designed events where people who play 24/7 run down all the possible runs before the weekend screwing over people who can't do stuff till then.
More possible speculation on what rewards and outcomes deciding on the side we choose Just to clarify the text is supposed to say If we fight for the Grineer our fellow Tenno won't fall to the mercy of Alad V –Letter13 which means that if we fight for the Grineer against the Corpus the Tenno will be saved, but the Grineer will gain power. If we fight for the Corpus against the Grineer then fellow Tenno will fall into the hands of the Corpus and the Grineer will (probably) be weakened as a result. I'm not sure of the possible outcomes/rewards, but I'm probably going to fight alongside the Grineer if only to help save fellow Tenno. That was from the warframe forums
Where's the choice of fucking the both sides up Why so we suddenly have to make a choice between helping our rivals even if it doesn't profit us They should have gone "Tenno if you help us we will give you all the credits and materials you need, and some exotic MOA dancers as well", and try to bait us into picking sides
they just need to fucking finish the new dojo style so we can finally finish ours

OI GRINEER I thought you were all about "grineed are the pinnacle of evolution, perfection" and shit. Why you be wanting tenno yo
Corpus = Jews Zankua = Space hanukkah
Grineer= Endlösung der Kosmosjudenfrage
Hopefully it's not one of those badly designed events where people who play 24/7 run down all the possible runs before the weekend screwing over people who can't do stuff till then.
I'm expecting that the big clan that's exploited to win every single event has the ability to swing the war in any way they deem fit.
OI GRINEER I thought you were all about "grineed are the pinnacle of evolution, perfection" and shit. Why you be wanting tenno yo
Corpus want to research the Tenno Warframes, Grineer are bent on destroying all of them.
Corpus want to research the Tenno Warframes
They want to sell them to highest bidders. [editline]23rd October 2013[/editline] But Lotus won't buy them because she doesn't trust jews.
Oh, we should go with Grineer.
Or we could help Corpus and then we can whoop Alad V's ass in order to get this new warframe or we can be all like oh shit it is event warframe! [editline]23rd October 2013[/editline] Also new leaked remade Lotus http://i.cubeupload.com/8diHCo.png
Oh, we should go with Grineer.
It says Tenno, not Warframes Let's pretend Alad V will treat them super nicely because we helped him I hope everyone will be able to choose their side, I don't want to fight for the Grineer :/
I'm conflicted, i find Grineer more fun to fight against, but if we are going to get faction based rewards, I like the Grineer equipment and aesthetic better than i like the corpus. ps. fuck fighting hordes of shockwave+ fusion moas.
Oh, we should go with Grineer.
I really like the Corpus as a faction, but it seems pretty ridiculous given the info given. Fighting for the Grineer gives us a new frame. Fighting for the Corpus weakens the Grineer? It doesn't seem very much like the Corpus to offer such a flat and meaningless reward.
We don't know the actual rewards yet. It would seem silly to cut out a whole new frame just because of the community picking one side over the other.
They go through all the effort of making a new frame only to scrap it entirely.
Which isn't going to happen, the same way the grineer desert settlements would have simply been delayed, not removed from the game. Content is content, marketing is marketing.
Also the Corpus could use a buff in my opinion, even the level 70 ones on Pluto explode almost instantly in contact with my Flux beam, and level 70 Grineer are actually threatening
I doubt that they would make the frame related to the reward.
On the real, they need to make some gameplay changes to make melee more viable against ranged units. Adding a minimum weapon range to the enemies would help, make it so they can't retreat, and make it so other enemies will not fire on you unless they have a clear shot to avoid hitting their allies. Going into melee against high level ranged units is a pretty good way to get killed. It feels like the higher level I get, the more and more focused the gameplay gets on pure gunplay.
Live stream mentioned something about melee combos and showed some animations for it as well. Looks like Vindictus and other related games.
Yeah, I love using melee, but it sucks when Lancers punch you in the face and spray the shit out of you with their guns. At melee range they have 100% accuracy and can shoot you when you're slashing them. In real life, they would have trouble lining up a shot at a target so close.
I hope each side has a different syandanas as rewards
I'm wondering if we'll get a few side cosmetics this update.
I thought the event was happening today?
Probably a friday to tuesday event, content drops are wednesdays, but weekend events are prolly literally still weekends.
They said it would start today.
