Ember absolutely rocks Infested defense missions though
My dual viper should be done by the time my Ash is done. Does anyone have any suggestions for a new Primary to use along side them and the pangolin sword I'm making? I already have Boltor and Braton.

I'm gonna push like mad to get the prime variant. [editline]9th May 2013[/editline] Depending on how difficult it will be to get the prime variant, I'll either blue potato the prime one or the one I have now.
I feel like the Latron would be a good match for Ash and the Vipers, but I've wanted the HEK. (I just bought four weapon slots.)
My Twin Vipers so far feel a little underwhelming. granted, I don't have damage mods to put on them yet
My Twin Vipers so far feel a little underwhelming. granted, I don't have damage mods to put on them yet
I didn't like my Vipers until I had Multishot and Armor Piercing on them. Granted, at the time I was pretty much always clearing Greener planets for some fucking reason, but once I had those it was like "BLAP BLAP ROOM DEAD". That and the mod that let you carry more ammo.

Sounds fun, guess we'll find out for sure at update 8.
Speaking of finding out dicerolls, why can't I see all my base stats in my arsenal? It makes it hard for me to pick what I want and hard for wiki people to write accurate articles.

Ultimate fuck that, I still can't find that fucking helmet after weeks of searching.
What drops by the mini ? alerts? Also I really want the Banshee Helmet, but fuck if I'll ever get it.
What drops by the mini ? alerts? Also I really want the Banshee Helmet, but fuck if I'll ever get it.
Get in line, you're at least the 6th person I know now looking to get it :v:
Bullshit, I got a blueprint for it from an alert earlier today.
There have been 3 since that post, step up senpai
So it's like Banshee parts? Ultimate fuck that, I still can't find that fucking helmet after weeks of searching.
It's like getting a blueprint that has a random chance of creating the blueprint of what you need, basically, banshee parts with half the chance of obtaining them. I'm quite sure that whatever I get out of those orokin room thingies, I'm going to use it as much as possible, no matter how good it is. I'd run around with a MK1-braton prime if I ever got it. I wonder if there will be prime versions of weaponry from other factions. I mean how is an ancient race going to invent the improved version of a weapon which hasn't even been invented yet? It's not that I care too much about the lore of this game to make it overshadow the gameplay, I mean obtaining a hek prime would be extremely fun even if it doesn't make any sense.
If there was a prime glaive I'd cry, considering the ungodly amount of resources needed to build a regular one.
My Twin Vipers so far feel a little underwhelming. granted, I don't have damage mods to put on them yet
Multishot as high as you can get it, and flat damage increases will turn them into horrible, horrible little engines of hate and destruction.
I've yet to find multi-shot for anything other than Shotguns, I feel sad. Though multi-shot and my Paris or Boltor sounds... wonderful.
Multi-shot doesn't consume extra ammo, does it? It sounds like an amazing way to double damage output.
Multi-shot doesn't consume extra ammo, does it? It sounds like an amazing way to double damage output.
Don't think it does, no.
Multi-shot doesn't consume extra ammo, does it? It sounds like an amazing way to double damage output.
It's a chance to do double damage (or usually do double, but sometimes do triple damage) without consuming extra ammo. Short said: it's amazing.
Armor piercing, Damage and Multishot are probably the most useful mods when it comes to weapons
Yeah, on my Braton right now I've got 40% armor piercing, 60% extra damage, 45% shock damage. I can pretty much singlehandedly kill a wave of Corpus in one mag. Not sure the armor piercing helps for corpus but it does for grineer.
Armor piercing, Damage and Multishot are probably the most useful mods when it comes to weapons
It mostly depends on the weapon. If you have an automatic rifle with a fast rate and decent damage (for example the braton) while fighting grineer, that build may be good.
Armor piercing, Damage and Multishot are probably the most useful mods when it comes to weapons
I'd add Freeze Damage to that. The slowing effect is excellent.
I have freeze and stun mods on my sentinel. Nothing can touch me!
Eh, I find stun and elemental damage pretty worthless when it comes to weapon mods. I can shoot damage equivalent to giant fists, or Hardman's weapon, why would I want to waste slots for a freeze mod when I can add something that'd make life better? Like more bullets.
