Supposedly the berserker warframe is going to be just that. A few people believe the Project Zanuka that Alad is working on will become the new warframe and that is event is a precursor to their release.

Hate to break it to you but aside from the survival beta it's always been grind like fuck to get phat l00ts.
That's what WF is, that's all WF does.
If that stuff bugs you, you're def playing the wrong game.
Plus, use nova and the missions last about 4-5 minutes unless you're just not very good at the game.
I've been using the Ignis the whole event, and it's laughable how fast you can run through the Corpus with it. The rest of my squad rarely get's over 10 kills.
It's alright for Grineer, but god damn the gunners and eviscerators are annoying as hell.

Eviscerators i'll grand you but NOTHING it's more annoying that walking through wave upon wave of Napalms. Seriously, every mission i'm in, there's at least three in every room. Lotus is non stop "HEAVY GRINQUEER APPROACHING" and i cringe every time it happens. It looks like i have tourettes.

I was actually going to bring this up because I haven't seen a Napalm since yesterday. Eviscerators are still out and about but no more big red fuckers.
Napalms were kinda annoying, but I'd rather deal with them than fusion drones.
I have found a good way to team farm bosses.
Frost: Snow Globe
Magnet: Shield Polarize
Nekros: Soul Punch repeatedly
Magnet: Bullet Attractor
Excalibur: Radial Javelin
It seems to instantly kill or cripple anything but Phorid, whose stagger usually stops us from Soul punching enough.

So I barely just hopped on the event band wagon and was going Corpus from start due to lore; the Grineer are a threat to the system as a whole while the Corpus are just out to whore all the monies. When it gets down to the nitty-gritty, the Tenno's job is to keep balance and giving the Grineer more power AFTER an event where we REDUCED their power. Besides, Alad V will modify the frames, and since it will be a beserker frame, it will go renegade and they will hire us to reclaim them but we keep them instead. Sooooooooooooooooo...

Has anyone noticed a bizarre increase in stalker activity during this war? The stalker came after me 4 times today, and after several others at least 3 times.
I wonder what side he's on, or why he's suddenly so active.
Only encountered him once so far since I'm using max level gear except for dragging a random melee weapon along for leveling while I 4 stuff to death: apparently he is super allergic to the synapse, cause that's the fastest I've ever killed him, he was level 84 and literally died before he could get out of the meditation stance and I was the only one shooting him... maybe he's actually the first attempt at a synthetic tenno, which would make the infested looking parts of the regular tenno a lot more suspicious in regards to who the tenno actually served in the Old War (aka the Tenno were not the good guys).

yeah they must've upped his encounter rate by 6000% or something, I met him 4 times in 2 days
Also maybe the market is wrong, but I was checking stuff to buy, did they just change Soma for Mastery 4 to mastery 6, or is that a bug because I already own the weapon? Just thought it was curious, that it might have been something they changed in one of the recent hotfixes.
Anyone with half a brain knows that this event war is just a red herring for the remake of Hyena. They already have the models in-game, and would be a complete waste of time and resources to not use them.
Chances are, Grineer win and Corpus say they reveal their true weapon which is Hyena and etc.
Corpus win, and they still release Hyena.
