New pistols will still be outclassed by the acrid
Every weapon is outclassed by the acrid.
Corpus are better on principle because they seem to be one of the few remnants of Humanity that's still surviving and thriving. They might very well be one of the only things stopping the Grineer from completely erasing Humanity and replacing them all with their army of identical looking weak, sickly, retard-brained clones that can't survive without mechanical assistance.
The church of Gordon Gekko doesn't really seem like a place I'd want to hang out, especially if a dude in big ass metal renaissance frufru collar is handing me a stick with a light on the end and telling to go hit the giant biomechanical ninja armed with a sword the size of my body and a poison flame spewing minigun for the so I can go to heaven for Je$u$.

Keep in mind, that if the Grineer take the system (Which they fucking will), they'll strip mine and essentially blast everything apart. They're genocidal maniacs.
Wow DE seriously?
I was on my last run for 3 Orokin Cell and they boosted Corpus points while I'm inside.
Ended up Corpus winning and not giving me my last Battle Pay to qualify.
Who is leading now because DE boosting?
Nobody updated wiki with new info:
Martialis - ongoing (Grineer advantage) 89%
Ingame:
[DEFENDED] Martialis: Corpus
Space Illuminati confirmed for 5th faction.
[editline]30th October 2013[/editline]
Corpus won Martialis, and if they won Augustus earlier (I'm not sure which one is the winner) it means we have a draw.
Tharsis was boosted and now it looks like another Corpus victory, which means Corpus will have more nodes controlled compared to Grineer.
RIGGED AS FUCK.
Time to run quickly to get 6 wins for Coprus in be on winning side.
Tharsis - ongoing (Grineer advantage) 81%
Ingame:
Corpus advantage 99.4%
Not subtle at all.
EDIT: Better save up wiki history for event page who knows whether they'll be "rigging" the information to hide the fact that they're boosting sides. :v:
I'm pretty sure they won't bother hiding it considering how they mentioned the event was rigged for grineer at the beginning.
They cleverly gave Corpus 3 wins and took one away and are saying that they are working only on that one.
Clever.
I honestly have no idea what is going on in the Dev's minds anymore.
Grineer: 110
Corpus: 111
I hope that I didn't switch sides back and forth for nothing.
Grineer is pushing Tharsis real hard.
Earlier when the boosting was applied Grineer was 0.1%.
Now they're 2.1%
So who is winning now? Corpus or Grineer?
Maybe DE cheated to make it a tie with Tharsis as the tiebreaker so they could talk about how close it was in the next livestream. As if they're fooling anyone.

Warbros is probably shitting themselves right now, kicking anyone who supported corpus in their guild and telling everyone to run tharsis.
So who is winning now? Corpus or Grineer?
As of right now, Corpus actually.
But the Grineer % on Tharsis is rising. And theres a good chance this might just be a bug.
So Tharsis is the tie breaker?
Welp
As of last night at 9:15 PM EST we were alerted that the Spear node was acting in a way that suggested a bug was occurring with the event. We reviewed the data and sure enough error was present and the investigation began.
This morning we reviewed further and discovered that this node was in-fact manually altered by a user who again struck this morning with the “Tharsis” node and subsequent active nodes.
All compromised nodes will be excluded from event results. These nodes include:
Spear, Tharsis, Martialis, and Augustus.
Battle Pay will still be given out for these nodes.
We are hotfixing now to continue the Gradivus Dilemma and are monitoring closely for suspicious activity for the remainder of the event.

Seems DE doesnt like it when others rig their events

So who ever have kept history of this event who is winning atm then?
So without those nodes, what's the tally?
So without those nodes, what's the tally?
The removed nodes are:
Spear - Grineer
Tharsis - Corpus
Matirialis- Corpus
Agustus- Corpus
So basically, the score is 9 Grineer, 3 Corpus now
I find it hilarious that DE cracked down on someone hacking the event to make it fair so fast. Yet they have no problem to do the same thing to make it unfair.

So I change the side to losing one on last seconds?
Darn.
Better how, exactly. :v:
Nef talks at length how he's going to chop you into pieces and sell the parts off while furiously rubbing his crotch, Trollbird kicks you in the dick after pulling a Scorpion, and Raptor fucking flies away like a bitch with your Nova drop.
Corpus aren't any better than the Grineer, that's kinda the point.
The Corpus are far better than the Grineer, you the two words DE has been throwing around? Loyalty and sacrifice?
Loyalty as in loyalty to the Tenno and Sacrifice as in the greater good. While the corpus will develop better tech and probably use it for military purposes, the Grineer will charge in to the worlds, strip mine and enslave the colonist, whats and handful of Tenno to the lifes of thousands?
So without those nodes, what's the tally?
All the hacked nodes but Spear were Corpus wins so...
No looking good for Corpus... unless because of the cheating DE just drops the rewards for both sides.
So, the event ended?
If so, no Prova vandal for me ;_;
I hope DE goes 'fuck it' and gives all rewards to everyone.
It's not over yet, as every node hasn't been contested.

If we save a few Tenno and the Corpus on Mars get wiped out, I'd say that's a win-win. The people living there aren't exactly innocent, after all. It's a Corpus salvage operation, not some civilian colony. Both sides are equally shitty, we just get to choose whichever one we want.
It's really, really messed up that the second someone tries to sway the game away from their rigging they get super butthurt. I'm not one to encourage griefing, but come on DE, pot calling the kettle black.
I hope DE goes 'fuck it' and gives all rewards to everyone.
I hope DE never does an event like this again.
The official WF forums have been a crybaby drama house for arguably just reasons.
Well, I guess the Hack is good, cause we get our battle pay items faster if you think about it this way.
