Just got to 100 Corpus victories, no Grineer. I really doubt it'll happen, but is anyone else hoping that they have a loyalty bonus or something that they intentionally didn't reveal for the people that choose a side and stuck with it, rather than flip-flopping for the best battlepays?

This is the only reason I want to finish these God forsaken mission. Maybe, fucking maybe, they give rewards to loyal sides but I will scream until my lungs give out if they say "only for people who did 100 missions".
Only managed to get 35 on Grineer and 25 on corpus, had a fuckload of tests since the update came out.
This event really needed a faction lock.
Are those two pistols going to be exclusive from this event? Cause if they are im gonna be really fucking pissed.

Someone theorized somewhere that they were going to be dropped as BPs by the new bosses. That'd be nice for the people who missed out on the event, but i'd be upset if i learned that the reward i farmed 100 missions for could have been obtained much easier by farming a boss a few times.

Giving those out as a 100 mission reward is completely retarded though, they could have made some super rare mod or badge for that instead, but limiting a new weapon to an event is REALLY stupid. Snipetron/Strun have normal variants so its kinda understandable that those are limited, making this one a reward far harder to achieve while being extremely boring after 25 missions or so is just DE forcing WF to become an even bigger grindfest.
And I'm done. I think I'm going to puke from playing the same map over and over again. 100 missions is fucking retarded.
The two pistols aren't Vandal/Wraith/any kind of special, I imagine they'll either drop somewhere or be available in the market after some time

Those aren't quite "new" weapons though, they're pretty much special skins and a stat bonus for existing weapons. The handcannons given as reward for this event have actual new models and names and stuff. I kinda doubt they would go to that effort of making a new model and sounds and animations and possibly scripting new behaviour instead of just pumping out another "Wraith" or "Vandal" unless they wanted to put it on the platinum market later.

To be fair, getting it via the event gives you a shot at getting a free slot and catalyst with it. Plus you get some nice shit as battle pay from the missions.

I think retiring gear is fucking stupid, why don't they try actually making it better and giving it viability instead of making it impossible to get again? Maybe some new player is gonna come along and be all "WHAT IS THAT I MUST HAVE IT" and be pissed because they retired it. It's just stupid imo.

If Ether Daggers not fitting why do we still have Dual Ether/Sword. Scorpions are still using Machete, and Heavy Gunners are still using Gorgon (which totally fits Grineer weapon designs even though it was a Close Beta weapon).
You want weapons that do not fit Warframe's aesthetic? Hek, Boar and Strun.
Lets look at the recently retired weapons:
Boar was retired because Sobek is better.
Gorgon was "retired" because Soma is better. (Still attainable via Daily Reward)
Machete because its a Grineer copy of Skana.
Ether Daggers because its an inferior single target version of Dual Ether.
With removal of Boar, we no longer have a low tier version of auto shotgun. Same goes to Gorgon.
If anything, Sobek needs higher rank requirement, so Boar can be a low rank alternative. Same approach for Gorgon/Soma and Strun/Hek.
Daggers need a new melee mechanic, currently its just a shorter blade. Maybe make daggers more viable for stealth approach (e.g. faster stealth kill animation compared to other weapons, also make stealth to be confirmed kill), then implement proper stealth mechanic for it to work (we already have silent weapons and noise reduction mods).
