Wouldn't that create power creep or turn them into straight upgrades? I know they sort of did this with spectra/flux, but spectra is a sidearm version of flux, which kind of makes up for it.
I agree with you on strun and boar, though. Those weapons literally make no sense lore-wise.

I'm so glad I'm getting the Seer Again. Yep, no regrets here. This event was beyond broken.
Grinding the same shit a three-digit number of times, huge clans stomping on everyone, cheating, fake reward rumors, unbalanced choices, propaganda, lots and lots of napalm grineer and all just for a shitty weapon.
It's like a bad event mixed with horrible politics.
They need to figure a way to keep these types of missions in game, IMO it's much more fun fighting alongside AI teammates than just going solo and killing everything that moves

Just imagine the grineer chilling around practicing attack formation alpha when all of a sudden the ship's alarm goes off and they find out intruders are heading their way. They set up a barricade and have their guns aimed at a door and when it opens up, there is nothing. All of a sudden they hear the sound of metal tapping on the ground and it gets louder and louder until the tapping becomes a storm of metal slamming on the ground. Then out comes the tenno cavalry and starts slashing them with dakra primes from atop their mounts and shooting them with vastos.
can't wait to add another lame badge to my collection
