The damage type of the weapon is only applied to the weapon's base damage, and doesn't apply to damage added from elemental mods.

I guess base damage isn't the right word, it also applies to damage added by serration, and other +damage mods.

Think of it this way; you'll be expending that extra 20% trying to do the same damage to armored enemies, (aka almost everything)

Something kind of awesome just happened.
I was running a regular mission on Kappa when the lights started blinking because stalker didn't want one of my teammates to level. It took some time before he actually showed up, but when he did, he was just standing still and aiming at the ceiling. We tried shooting him, but it didn't do any damage. The enemies could hurt him though, so he eventually reached the point where he starts attacking them, but he was still ignoring us. So basically, we got an overpowered teleporting AI teammate to help killing the enemies while he didn't care about us.

i started playing this game again and i like the optimization, i'm not chugging sub-30 fps whenever there are more than 20 infested anymore.

You know, I'd love to polarize my most used weapons if I just built more forma.
Only problem is that whenever I go on Kappa, one of the players on my team usually has yet another theory on how to level in the most efficient manner and forces his/her entire team to follow his/her exact instructions. I've recently found myself doing the polar opposite, just because they end up acting like a nagging and controlling bitch.
A popular theory is that you only gain XP from kills if the enemy dies within 15 meters away from you. I've had teammates who would yell at me if I didn't shove my head right up their ass at all times. This usually ends with me, and even some other teammates running as far away as possible from the guy who is complaining. Meanwhile, that guy stays sqeezed up to the pod and yells at us for not defending it when in reality, it hasn't taken a single bit of damage.
I had another person yelling at me for using warframe powers to kill enemies and claimed all the XP for those kills would go to my warframe, while weapon kills would be 50/50 between my warfame and my weapon. Unfortunately for that guy, I was playing nova.
TL;DR: I hate following instructions made by people based on their theories of how the game works without any evidence whatsoever.

Also aslong you can see numbers flying when allies kill enemies you get affinity.
What's the best way to counter grineer napalms? They keep wrecking me and my teammates and their attack goes through frost's shield. The best thing I can think of to take them down is to make sure they can't fire
So far, mag's pull seems to be the best defense against everything not a boss but it backfired on me during infested defense when I yanked toxic ancients at myself

Oddly enough, only the fire graphic pierces the snowglobe all the way, I was standing at the back of my globe, on fire, but no damage.
Is it worth trying to get the Frost Prime Chassis and Systems blueprint drops (already have Frost Prime and the Helmet) or just get Frost?
