http://www.reddit.com/r/Warframe/comments/1r9uex/de_please_give_us_a_hosting_option/cdle038 yes, the lag problem is on my own end, especially my 30 d/10 u connection, and not the people with awful dial-up internet. how fucking dense do these people have to be to not understand that p2p is bad, especially when there's no dedicated button for "LET ME HOST A MISSION INSTEAD OF JOINING A RANDOM FUCK WITH INTERNET FROM THE DARK AGES"
i just adjusted my ping threshold so i dont join people connecting from the moon though that just means less people showing up on my radar but whatever
Augh, I want Nova but fuck fighting Raptor :c
Alternate powers as mod drops would be really sick. BF2-esque ball turret for Vauban Targeted AoE flame pillars for Ember Bioshock Infinite's Return to Sender for Mag DE pls
Ball Lightning for volt
I'd like to see some kind of torrent attack for the Ember, like a power form of the Ignis where it consumes energy for every second it is active. I couldn't really see them doing it though because you'd run in to the issue of it possibly just superseding the Ignis. [editline]23rd November 2013[/editline] Also, I'd like see innate resistances and weaknesses for Warframes. Like Ember have heat resistance but a weakness to like, toxic or something. Frost be resistant to cold but weak to heat. Things like that. I mean, with the new damage system its entirely possible we will see that.
Augh, I want Nova but fuck fighting Raptor :c
Get/use Loki. [editline]23rd November 2013[/editline] Or pay me 10plat and I will farm it with you till' you get it. [editline]23rd November 2013[/editline] Or name your price.
I really don't understand people who have problems fighting bosses. Even Raptor, who's excessively broken. As long as you have a team and weapons that aren't the default ones, you'll be fine. The only real exception is Lephantis, that's the only boss I've ever been afraid of losing to.

I think 2.0 dmg made it buttload easier if you just have right weapon.
Has anyone else been crashing a lot recently? Since the update I've had 3 crashes today.

Some times lag is super cool and lets you to sneak attack everything and everyone and you can finish whole mission without getting hit once.
Ball Lightning for volt
OVER HERE NOW ZIP ZAP WHERE'S THE PARTY HAHA WHO'S THAT HANDSOME FELLOW Alternate powers for frames would be great- 1 or 2 good powers each could completely change the play style of frames and make more mediorce ones better to use Like, you could get some Frost powers that make him slightly better at offense rather than being a lazy fuck who just twiddles his thumbs in his globe
To expand more, I'd like to see the warframes with a mixed role ie. Volt that is attack/support get 2 new powers, one to attack and one to support, so you can decide to play very supportive but with an ulti, or very attacky but with a support power or 50|50, to have even more choice within the same warframe.
the only boss i have a problem with is hyena because apparently hyena attracts the most new players and they always do stupid shit like bringing a paris or trying to melee him and then getting stomped to death.
and also make the mobility powers (super jump, grapple etc) available to all frames and give real powers to those poor warframes hindered by that shit [editline]24th November 2013[/editline] my automerge, teno skum son of a godre
I can help you farm it. Mag is pretty neat against Raptor.
Let's do it then c:
MechNexus, I just ran it a few times and I only need the chassis now, wooo
Get ingame, you
Hi, back again, with some tweaks to that wind frame. Just want some input before I decide to try drawing it: T1 Power: Crescent Wind - Zephyr [the Frame] uses her melee weapon to channel the wind into a crescent slash that flows through enemies. The crescent's size and travel distance increases with mods, and there is a chance to stagger that increases by leveling the ability. T2 Power: Vacuum - Zephyr forms a bubble on a selected target that deprives the target of oxygen and causes them to get stun locked for X seconds. Killing the target has a chance of causing the bubble to flow to another target, resetting the timer. T3 Power: Undercurrent - Zephyr summons a burst of wind under the selected target, launching it and others within a set distance air born. The abilities effect radius and height of launch level with ability, and targets have X% of getting rag-dolled, depending on size. Enemies that hit a "ceiling" or fall from said distance take damage. (i.e. - Launch "pressure" increases launch height, thus increasing the force of impact, and etc. PHYSICS!) T4 Power: Catastrophe - Zephyr channels and guides the flow of the air and summons a tornado that surrounds him/her and lasts X seconds. As the mod levels, so does its ability to launch heavier targets. Enemies lifted into the air are rag-dolled and thrown around [like how a tornado would do to you]. Once the ability ends, enemies fall and take damage and are stunned for 1, 2, 3, 5 seconds or something. - An Alternative Ability - T2 Power: Aspect of Wind: Zephyr infuses its and allies weapons with high-velocity capabilities, causing all munitions to have increased travel distance and lower travel times. Also, the affected munitions now have chance to knockdown and stagger along with bolstered piercing/impact/slash damage. [Imagine bullets now breaking light barriers, holy fuck!] T3 Power: Wind Wall - Zephyr creates a cylinder of wind that affects enemy projectiles. The wind surrounding the area causes said projectiles to have a chance of rebounding/going off course. These projectiles could possibly hit another enemy and do boosted damage due to the acceleration from the wind. Rockets and other explosives high a higher chance of rebounding than bullets due to their size. Any munitions that don't rebound pass through the wall and do damage as normal. Also, enemies are unaffected if they enter for melee. Enemy rounds shot from within may rebound. [Still deciding on last part.] What do you guys think about this frame? Enough CC to frustrate the enemies but still give them a chance. I would play it, then again I am writing it's moves. :v:
No. GJ you just wrote up what I think would be literally the most OP piece of shit in the game.
No. GJ you just wrote up what I think would be literally the most OP piece of shit in the game.
Who said it would do ludicrous damage and/or hard CC. I just listed how abilities work, not what their damage/area is/are. I just feel that since there exists a frame of lightning, maybe one of wind would work. Most champs are either offense or tanks, no true CC. The idea I see is a frame with 1 offense ability, and 2-3 CC abilities. Out of what I made, abilities 1 and [some of] 2 are fairly decent, but I can see 3 and 4 need reworking. I just feel some input would be nice.
How has damage 2.0 treated you lot? The 3 main opinions seem to be "WAAAAAAAHHH TOO COMPLEX", "WAAAAAAAAAAHHH TOO HARD", and "Still too easy". Personally, I have no issue. All of my weapons are still great, and the ones that were less great are now even better. Just re-arrange your damn builds, geez :v:
There's a reason warframes don't have CC. And you shouldn't be thinking of frames in terms of offense or tanks. That's shitty MOBA thinking. Let's address your plan ability by ability. T1: Very similar to Volt's Shock. Staggering? Perhaps not overpowered on its own, but in combination with the rest of the abilities... T2-A: You've just stopped a rampaging Ancient. Or a Heavy Gunner. Or a Corpus Engineer. The heavy-type enemies which are supposed to pose a significant threat suddenly are put out of action. Wow A+ T2-B: Travel time bonus? Knockdown AND stagger AND damage bonus? what the fuck. Most bullet weapons are hitscan anyway. You're supposed to use impact rounds against shields. That's what the new system was designed to do, make you THINK about your loadout so you're not using the same weapons over and over. T3-A: A reverse Mag Pull. Except this has the possibility of pushing enemies into pitfalls from miles away. T3-B: Frost does this. T4: A fucking tornado? A sustained tornado? Mag's ultimate does this as well except that it only picks up enemies once, any that approach later are unaffected. 5 second stun? Are you mental?
-Stuff-
I'd rather have the 1st ability be the warframe deploying a miniature tornado that would move forward in a zigzagging pattern knocking away anything in it's path. 2nd ability, usually being the gimmick ability, is the warframe and nearby allies being put in a temporary state of low gravity, increasing jumping speed and height. 3rd ability is the warframe creating a strong wind full of debris that would temporarily stun enemies within a radius for 1-2 seconds and then slow them down for another 3 seconds. 4th ability would be your 3rd ability, except the tornado is an updraft that would be deployed in a radius around the warframe and quickly dissipate. Enemies in range are ragdolled and sent up into the air or a ceiling. Enemies that are killed by impact would explode into a gibbed mess. That be my two cents.
Of course there was a Orokin Reactor battlepay while I was at work.

Ooooh boy. So those rumours of stalker becoming invincible? So I was running around with level 20 equipment (again) when stalker came. And sure enough I was pummeling him. But then after using and completing absorb, he became immortal. No damage to shields, no stuns or knockbacks applied, etcetera. And he never left. So I spent about 20 minutes in a survival mission running away before I was finally killed by despair. =(
People say Stalker is finally 'challenging' but I think they just made him bullshit now, I think an attack that instantly obliterates maxed out Iron Skin is a little bit overpowered

Gave a good chance to get a good close-up look at him.
yeah I was running around solo with shit tier gear and he decided to pop in even though I had crap gear my frame was decent and I still got melted in like 5 seconds
