Plat is easy to get now. Just keep doing nightmare, void or derelict missions and get mods. Stuff like accelerated blast, blaze and lethal torrent sell for 10-15 plat if you do nightmare. Heavy caliber, magnum force and all the corrupt warframe mods can go for ridiculous sums if you bother maxing them as well as vitality, redirection, serration, hornet strike and so on. Your best bet is the void; you get tons of infected mag, the toxic damage mod for rifles. However, I do know corrupt ancients drop quick thinking, the overpowered mod which can get you 60-80 plat when maxed. I have scanned about all orokin enemies apart from corrupt moas, who I think may drop rage, which also has great value. My advice to you is to keep selling mods, make some plat and- MISERROBOT, MISTERROBOT, MISTERROBOT!
you can sell mods for platinum?
I have never found big enough tool to actually buy mods.
I have never found big enough tool to actually buy mods.
I bought split chamber off someone (forgot your name) in the dojo the other day. I paid 7 plat, mostly because A.) I was feeling generous, B.) That plat was all I had left and it wasn't buying anything any time soon and C.) I kinda wanted split chamber for my baby Dera.
This is only in the unlikely event that you find someone dumb enough to pay plat for mods
:C
I'm never going to sell any of my stuff for plat That's just scummy. I ain't no corpus yo.
Massive downer that everythings so expensive when it comes to platinum. Four pound for 75 credits? It costs £4 to get nice colours on your warframe? Unlocking more wareframe slots for 20.. i suppose that's reasonable. Having only one spare slot? not reasonable. (and you probably should start with all the 'beginer' warframes, not just one) It's free to play gone wrong. I'm a self entitled prick and I just can't see myself supporting the developers with my money.
You should only ever buy plat if you get a discount, then the prices are much better
I understand that the plat prices are ridiculous and some of the market items have strange prices when compared to each other, but all I and DE care about is that there are some thick morons out there and I've lately grown to loving them.
Missed yet another clan key run due to DE's incompetence and inability to actually make a proper functioning fucking game, that must be the 50th by now. Nearly fucking missed a mod for plat trade because I couldn't connect to the guy's god damn dojo yet I could invite him just fine no problem. Half the online games lag like shit and the other half is a nightmare on earth of LOST CONNECTION TO HOST and SESSION UNAVAILABLE, even worse when the game decides I must like seeing those errors and tries to put me in the same broken match every time I try. I guess I'll be uninstalling this shit. Hope you choke on my 50 bucks all the way to the bank DE.

Incidentally, whenever I get close to finishing a mission, Warframe always crashes.
There are so many things that take the game down. 1: You're using one weapon. I mean for the first four systems you probably only used the assault rifle and sword/pistol when you had too. A decent shooter game would have given you small arsenal within five levels... and there's more than five levels in the first sector. Same with armours/armour abilities. Or, if unlocks realy do have to be slow, you should at least be able to pick up weapons from your dead foes. 2: the tutorial is total shit. I must of spent an hour wondering why i couldn't add mods. Had to look it up. 3: Only a few of the enemies are fun to fight. 4: the music doesn't make the game better. It should. 5: disregarding the bugs. There's a lot of... Nothing during gameplay. There are parts where you spend five, ten or even twenty minutes walking around (possibly amidst respawning enemies) Looking for your goal. Should probably take this to there forums. But it could be my only post and i doubt that they'd listen. This is the kind of stuff that you'd fix before beta.
TBH Warframe's early game was super great when the market had like 8 weapons each being different weapon types that were purchasable after a few missions. Now it's just grind all day from start to finish.

the lex and braton are still buyable early on, and the boss of the first system drops the parts for a new pistol. You start with all four of your warframes abilities so I'm not sure what you're concerned about there, and warframes are more like new classes than new armours. They're an investment to make. 2: the tutorial is total shit. I must of spent an hour wondering why i couldn't add mods. Had to look it up. nothing about the mod system is hard to understand, take things and put them on the grid. Wow, so hard 3: Only a few of the enemies are fun to fight. I wanna get into this game. What 'class' should I start with considering I'm worse than my gran?
I'd probably say Mag because her 1st ability is yanks everything towards you and does a lot of damage so it's really useful
Map markers disappears frequently though. And he said " I must of spent an hour wondering why i couldn't add mods", your explanation doesn't explain that at all. Lex and Braton are just better versions of the starter weapons. I agree that the fighting is as fun as you make it. If you wallrun and jump around a lot it's a lot more fun. The music needs to evolve past the "terminator-drums" though, it's really bland
I don't even notice the music. The again, I never notice the music in video games unless it's the "dynamic" music of Clear Sky which lets me know that I am technically in battle and need to watch my ass
answers in bold
The mod system was a new thing to me when I first started out since the game never really mentioned it. Imagine my surprise when I found out. Its even worse now, due to the whole 'status' thing and different elemental effects (ice and fire = blast, lightning and fire = radiation). I think he's saying the tutorial could mention mods and their effect on the frame instead of just..leaving it as a footnote. Its not hard to use, just difficult to understand for newbies. The music is okay, but sometimes I just listen to my own. And some maps are downright infuriating to navigate, especially the Grineer factory areas that have multiple levels. Not exactly hard to tell where the exit is, its just getting there thats a bunch of dicks.
I had an odd and unfortunate bug doing a corpus capture mission last night. Had two capture targets. Got to one with no problems and captured him. Then the marker for the other just up and disappeared. And we couldn't get to the exit because there was no marker for it and the door was still locked. We we searched every single room at least three times and never found the second target, he just didn't exist.
oh man did they change the experience system for weapons? while i was running through the event mission solo i noticed that at the mission end report i had no experience gained on my synapse because i was using my dual vastos the whole time. [editline]24th November 2013[/editline] i'm pretty sure i gained exp on all weapons no matter which weapon i used throughout the mission before
Map markers disappears frequently though.
Real talk, I've never had that happen.
i've only had map markers disappear on me way back during update 3 when the game was in a very buggy state.
I've never had marker disappear on me, the worst I get are invisible walls, terrible lag, and being unable to melee or switch weapons [editline]24th November 2013[/editline] also ghosts

When allies kill enemies near you, you gain xp evenly divided between all weapons and your frame. Were you the only one in the level?

There are weapons that you can buy with credits within the first two planets: The Lex, the Aklatos, the Braton, the Strun. There are also several other weapons that can be assembled in earth even, including the (still) insanely powerful twin Vipers. Alert Missions also allow you to pick up in bulk certain weapon blueprints, resources, and in a few cases (unless they have fixed this) allow you to travel to other planets and get their goodies either, and to top it off, it is even pointed out within the game after the first mission. The missions themselves do not take long to run unless underleveled, bad at third person shooters (which I can understand, because it took me a week to get through mercury), or looking for a certain rare resource. For example, from reaching earth and a little bit of opportunistic alert hunting, you can easily obtain twin vipers, the fang, and perhaps the boltor or burston. The grind for these is not nearly as long as you make it out to be. 2. The tutorial seems to be detailed enough to me... Although the one located in game is a tad lacking, the one on the website for PC and PS4 users fully details all the different aspects of basic gameplay and modification. It reads much like a user manual, and even if that left you confused, the updated user interface in the game helps direct and manage peripherals very well. I would understand you if this was update 8, but certainly not now. 3. This is a matter of opinion and I respect it, and the Corpus are bullocks until you reach Mars/Europa. 4. Same as above. 5. This should not be the case unless you are lost in an extermination mission. Enemies consistently respawn, sometimes inconceivably in areas that have been locked down. This used to be a MASSIVE issue in before update 4, and once again fixed in update 8, but I see no way in which you would find an area devoid of life unless you were huddling in one of those ship drawers.

Just went through a Vay Hek run, got a Stretch and 2 neurodes from kill, about to finish the mission and the god damn game crashes what the hell.
