Tenno are warriors trained by the koi.
Aren't Tenno humans infected with the Technocyte Virus but that weren't just entirely consumed by it? Like their namesake, Hayden Tenno?
Brain in a suit? What would you, a tenno, enjoy other than fighting? Not much. you'd Probably kill yourself. I imagined that they'd be ugly humans underneath. Slightly worse than grineer.
... how many times have you forma'd things...
I've only forma'd the Synapse
There's not enough love for Nyx.
I seriously had never actually seen someone playing a Nyx before until just last night.
Nyx was good until her Chaos became nerfed, now she's just "meh". Why control some enemies for a few seconds when you can just kill them all instantly
I like to imagine the Tenno under the warframe are barely recognizable as human, not just boring-ass space elves.
hey wait, if they're all fucked up and barely functional without the suit... does that make them Space Tony Stark? Like their namesake, Hayden Tenno?
iirc Excalibur's lore say the were Orokin guys who went into the Void and returned alive, but were physically warped in ways not entirely possible in our universe. the warframes were built around their impossibly deformed bodies to harness the equally impossible abilities they were given - which kind of explains a lot about the general lack of eyeholes and/or nonsensical design choices.
I think every warframe is manned by a naked nick. Or something like this:
Aren't Tenno humans infected with the Technocyte Virus but that weren't just entirely consumed by it? I.... Uhhh....
The 'nerf' as you put it is actually beneficial in more situations now, because keep in mind that Chaos cannot be recast while somebody is still affected by it.

I meant the concept of the suit being powered by a human or being part of the suit.
Well, whatever happened to the Tenno out in the Void, made them come back and murder the fuck out of the Orokin, or, at least the Stalker claims.
Aren't Tenno humans infected with the Technocyte Virus but that weren't just entirely consumed by it? It's never been explicitly stated that the Tenno have any relationship to Hayden Tenno himself, that's just speculation. The Warframes themselves are basically suits of armor that allow the Tenno to channel and use their powers. And the Orokin definitely took the idea from the one Hayden Tenno used in Dark Sector. (The other one interestingly has the Lotus emblem and is obviously the inspiration for Nyx.) And the time of Dark Sector is when the Technocyte Virus was originally created (apparently by the U.S.) Funny enough, the Darksector Wiki refers to the Orokin as being humans. They clearly are organic since the Stalker lore talks about how the Orokin bled when the Tenno turned on them but most people seem to feel they aren't humans at all.
They said in a stream that Hayden was the original Tenno though
They said in a stream that Hayden was the original Tenno though
They've never confirmed his relationship to the Warframe era Tenno though. The Glaive also talks about being the weapon of the first Tenno.
Warframe VII: The Origins of Tenno.
Warframe VII: The Origins of Tenno.
Doesn't sound dumb enough
What if every melee weapon had their own special charge attack move? It would make them different from each other, and make some weapons more useful. The Bo staff could have a sort of spin attack, I'm imagining something like Wukong's ultimate from League, look it up to get the idea. Not only would it be useful, but it would add a reason to get weapons instead of just going for damage or speed. Utility is the term here.

They broke that in a patch and never fixed it, along with pretty much every other weapon that does that.

A special charge attack isn't going to make melee weapons better when you can just shoot them dead/4 them dead instantly. I like this game, I've been playing it a lot more recently, but I'm at a loss as to how they would bring in some meaningful progression to the game. Something that makes it feel more like you're moving up the tiers of WoW raids rather than "grind, next planet, grind, next planet, grind, next planet". Seeing some actual balance between weapons would be nice too instead of Soma's everywhere. Damage 2.0 does an ok job of making those elemental weapons better but they still pale in comparison to something like a Galantine charge build. I also wish they would nerf something like the Strun Wrath because fuck the best weapon in the game being event exclusive and unobtainable. While I'm here, maybe make Warframe abilities more interesting? Add a cooldown to their 4's so everything isn't a constant spam of insta-death and maybe promote some tactile usage of them?

I can remember de both confirming and denying that dark sector was related to warframe at different points in time
Nothing of the kind has ever been stated; only that Hayden Tenno was the first.
Must've been a rumor on the wiki then. :v:
I can remember de both confirming and denying that dark sector was related to warframe at different points in time
A couple livecasts ago they confirmed Hayden was the first; I'd call that pretty definitive.
