A couple livecasts ago they confirmed Hayden was the first; I'd call that pretty definitive.
Yeah and at one point they said there was no connection between the two games
That's nice, doesn't change the fact they deliberately had a discussion on it, and told their fanbase accordingly, and haven't backtracked on it.
It would be great if they made the parrying mods viable. Like instead of focusing on making a build that can take a lot of damage, you focus on making something that can deflect damage and is focused more on the players response time and stamina usage
Reflection used to work just fine until 11.
Desperately need some slash damage mods.
Yeah and at one point they said there was no connection between the two games
I've never seen that at all. In fact, I know they specifically said not just that Hayden was the first Tenno but that Darksector is a part of the universe and canon.
It changes every time they bring it up, they really like making callbacks to Dark Sector because it was what they had to make at the time instead of Warframe but some of the Warframe lore doesn't really fit with Dark Sector being a prequel
yea. rip.
Just throwing something in on the "what's under the suit" discussion, consider the prisoners we rescue; they look to be mostly human, are wearing what appear to be interface suits, and importantly lack visible eyes. It's not impossible that they're what Tenno look like under the frame (although it's also possible that they're just humans working for the Lotus).

As well, when rescues were first introduced weren't they referred to as Tenno in the description or announcement or something? I just checked and apparently the update notes in the launcher referred to the hostages as Tenno.
how is the supra with damage 2.0? i got super annoyed with how much time i put into building it and the 5 forma it has for armor to destroy it. also, i always just figured tenno connected with their suits from the void and the "occupant" was more or less a meat simulacrum. [editline]12/3[/editline] ran out of ammo on a level 30 grineer level. also my scindo doesnt seem to do anything anymore. cant believe i wasted my time re-downloading this game again.

And it looks to be mostly mechanical... I think. Perhaps the Tenno are just brains in suits... perhaps it varies from warframe to warframe? We'll probably never know, D-E porbably wants to keep up the "Mysterious ninja" theme.
Oh look there is enemy that you want scan, sentinel goes boom boom fuck you even though there were plenty enemies and it was firing at other enemy first.
I think the fact that Valkyr has a human scream proves there are humans in the suits
I'd rather they make sentinels be commandable, so rather than having to use a mod slot on the offensive precept and have that mod clog the shit out of the drop tables (who else is sitting on 30+ revenge cards?) you just toggle shooty or no shooty
I think the fact that Valkyr has a human scream proves there are humans in the suits
they're probably still super fucked up and deformed like Excal's lore says they are, so how human they physically look is debatable. for all we know, Valkyr could have six eyes and a forehead proboscis.
they're probably still super fucked up and deformed like Excal's lore says they are, so how human they physically look is debatable. for all we know, Valkyr could have six eyes and a forehead proboscis.
It doesn't really make any specific mention of exactly how badly they were messed up.
It doesn't really make any specific mention of exactly how badly they were messed up.
well no, but it says that they were "twisted," and that the Void doesn't obey the laws of science or reason. and since their deformities, when properly channeled, apparently give them crazy otherwordly powers, i think we can infer from that that it's probably a bit worse than some mundane injuries. [editline]3rd December[/editline] i'm not saying that they actually do all have eight eyes and three boobs or whatever, i'm just saying they probably aren't entirely recognizable anymore.
yeah but it's obvious that most females have 2 breasts
yeah but if they did then it would basically be Total Recall and i'm down with that
I have liked to think that the original Tenno were the humans who could withstand the technocyte virus, giving them the warframes, and that Hayden was the first major human to show that people can withstand the virus, thus the Tenno namesake. I also like to think that the Tenno age slowly, if not at all. So when the orokin, who indirectly created the warframes by creating the technocyte virus, were killed by the revolting Tenno, Hayden felt guilty that the race that bore his name were killing machines, took it upon himself to right their wrongs, becoming the stalker. Just my head canon. :v:
Tenno have no eyes, you've heard it here first.
I think the fact that Valkyr has a human scream proves there are humans in the suits
#1 reason why remove Valkyr.
Also Valkyr's description basically says "She was so fucked up in the experiment she doesn't care about not being quiet like the other Warframes" meaning they have a personality to some extent
Also Valkyr's description basically says "She was so fucked up in the experiment she doesn't care about not being quiet like the other Warframes" meaning they have a personality to some extent
frost is cool, ember is hot, saryn is toxic

It ruins the ~mystery~
and rhino is fat
No I mean the human voice part, I don't want to play as humans that is plain awful. It ruins the ~mystery~
It's pretty obvious they aren't a typical human physically or mentally, so I don't see what the problem is.
and rhino is fat
no he's phat
