I was just in a match where we were supposed to destroy some huge drilling machines, got 2/4 destroyed and out of nowhere Lotus pretty much tells us to ignore the other two and to just exterminate anything alive that isn't Tenno.
I know it's just a gameplay mechanic to switch things up but I still can't help but wonder what Lotus is up to or what she's "figured out" to just suddenly switch objectives from "destroy some drills" to "exterminate [I]everything[/I]"

My guess is that something came up, like an emergency before the Tenno arrived, that caused a significant number of troops to be pulled away, so she just has the Tenno clear out all the enemies, then sends another team, probably armed with things that aren't that good for actual combat, to more thoroughly fuck up the area while it's empty.
ughghggh, so boring to level up boring weapons. currently trying to max out valkyr, strun and magistar and I don't like any of them

Blunt force weapons like the fragor and magistar need to throw enemies with every hit. The animations and effects make it feel like you're swinging a heavy and devastating weapon but it's not fun when it just clips through an enemy and they just flinch.
My brother reinstalled this earlier. I logged in for the first time in months and find that there are quite a few more akimbo secondaries than there were. Yet STILL no akimbo Sicarus. Granted the Sicarus as a whole might not be the surprisingly effective side arm it was a couple of months ago, but seriously.
There's a Sicarus prime though!

It really really sucks we have to wait til sometime in January to get our reward. I understand they're probably prolonging the event because its Christmas time and a lot of people have not have tons of time to do the event, but I kinda feel like in the future if its a simple Do X and you get reward to have it where when you "Complete" the event you instantly are mailed the event items.

So they're giving themselves more time to get it all done.
Also I found out something today about the Stug, you can add status proc mods to it and it does affect it, it will still say 0% on the stats but its been confirmed that it does actually increase the corrosive status proc chance.

I started playing the game again but I noticed that i'm no longer in the Facepunch clan.
Was there a relevant purge or change about it? Do I just have to pm again?

I don't think anyone here plays on a daily basis, most of us go into sleep mode between updates.
Still having issues with warframe just locking up my PC for no apparent reason. Tried defragging my cache and all that but I still got the issue. anyone know a solution?

I haven't played this game since before summer started, and so much has changed. However, there's some problems I need clarifying:
Why is the game so blurry at times?
What new resources are added?
Should I be re-upgrading my Excal since new mods have been added?
What are the incentives for joining a clan?

1:Probably something wrong with your settings.
2:Three new resources that drop from a blue resource container instead of orange, they're used to build clan weapons. There's also a black orb that's used to build a key to visit the orokin derelict, which is a new tileset.
3:Depends on what you've got on him. Going for health and shield upgrades are important, along with power upgrades that suit whatever abilities the warframe you're using has.
4:You can visit our dojo and hang, use our trading post to trade with players, buy blueprints for the clan-only exclusive weapons we've researched, use our dueling room, run the obstacle course, and our emblem will show up on your clan badge (if you've bought one.)
I don't have a problem with it, but I know a few people I've introduced to the game have complained about weird blurring.

I mean, at least they're committing to making the game serious. They should have given more warning though.
TF2 is a good example of when goofy items pretty much ruin the atmosphere and style that the game was designed on. It's a great game, don't get me wrong, but it lost a lot of its original direction.

I thought TF2 was meant to be goofy and over the top. I mean, even if you take hats out of the equations, the voice lines between the characters are goofy enough to break any sort of seriousness that game has. And thats a good thing.

Also I don't really understand steam's logic with these phased items.
The Vauban and Scarf are the common cheap things, and the weapon skins are expensive as hell.
