Yeah I wish the game would automatically give you the rewards upon completion. Even though it's Christmas and people are really busy, two weeks for such a simple event is a bit much.
They probably made it last so long because of holidays.

my biggest complaint with it is projectile speed.
it wasnt an issue before the soma came into existence but now that there is an easy point and click adventure gun that outclasses everything, the supra should at least get a projectile speed buff.

Projectile speed doesn't bother me since I mostly use mine for defense and survival but that and the reload speed are the reason why I don't take it for regular missions
Just hit Rank 6, My penta is ready, my flux rifle is ready, my nyx and frost are baking in the oven

I got the game today and I am on venus I was wondering what weapons to get and such. It feels like torture trying to figure out the text. Anyways a good game hopefully I can get better at it. Also any advice ?

If you're still using the default rifle, buy the BRATON and replace it with that. You'll find it in the shop, it's not the same as the MK.1 BRATON.

Infested mobile defence on Cyath, Eris is up for some lovely XP and plastids.
I found the best way to level up your warframe solo.
1.Grab a leveled up Penta(15 should be enough)
2.Go Derelict Defense
3.Stand in a corner of the platform where the cryopod is
4.Fire away when the infested reach the pod
At wave 10 you get like 60k xp.
You don't even have to move an inch from where you stand because the infested are aggroed on the pod from the start, and unless you shoot at them, or your pet does they stay aggroed on it.
But that's no fun. Leveling a new frame is like the most fun I had in this game.

Flux rifle is better than Spectra? Because Spectra is fun but almost useless.
Also what else should I be prepared for when I get to rank 6? My plan is - Flux, Penta, Soma, somethingfor secondary, and hopefully Galive or Glaive Prime, which will be pain in the arse to get.

Flux is an OK rifle. It was really awesome before damage 2.0 Cutting shit up, especially on infested.

Leveling up Weapons earns 100 mastery points per level gained for a total of 3,000.
Leveling up Warframes earns 200 mastery points per level gained for a total of 6,000.
Leveling up Sentinels earns 200 mastery points per level gained for a total of 6,000.
