I still do not get it.
Christ, if I say "my face when" and then show a dude's face:...
I now I understand I am sorry.
What does mfw mean?
it's 4chanese for "i can't express myself without image macros and I should be on 4chan instead of a forum"
that's me on infestation invasion survival i dont get why you wanna go longer than 5 minutes, you're gonna have to do it 2 more times
infestation survival is usually easier because the infested don't shoot you, derelict survival starts at a relatively high enemy level and tends to give you comparatively crap rewards, plus the derelict tileset is just totally fucked to navigate.
The infested derelict survival tileset with the giant tree in the middle of the circular room is the best because it's easy to climb the tree and enemies can't get to you up there. I was blowing up everything with my ogris from up there
it's 4chanese for "i can't express myself without image macros and I should be on 4chan instead of a forum"
lol damn what is this 2006 also I may be late to the game, but holy shit a maxed out Dread is a thing of beauty.
are you high? I'm talking about how 1/2 the shit in this game disintegrates bodies, on top of that fact that the engine is extremely overzealous about removing corpses, as if you can only have 2 on screen at any time, especially if the host is shit
No my friend you are high. Rely on the killing yourself 1 and body removal is a client function, not a host one 2, so the onus to collect is entirely on your end. Carry a weapon that kill rapidly or in groups and you should be more than able to get lots of orbs flowing. "Character is shit" != "I don't like this character and can't utilize his skill set well"
So after a good long haitus from this game, I'm curious if its worth getting back into. Admittedly I've been waiting since forever for them to change the hud, so will that come any time soon? The last thing I recall participating in was Arid Fear, and then getting rather bummed by all the reskins being more powerful than the default weapons. (I think it was the reskinned boar/strun)

(I think it was the reskinned boar/strun)
HUD change is coming in a big update that's rolling out soon. The event weapons are still more powerful than the main variants, but you don't see them often, because they're still outmatched by certain guns. If you get back into it now, you can get a bit of a headstart before U12, but you can always jut wait for it. Also, they've added a huge amount of content since arid fear, including new tilesets, boss redesigns, weapons and frames.
Missed the stream but read up on most of the stuff in the thread and online in some video blogs, it true they're removing serration mod?
Missed the stream but read up on most of the stuff in the thread and online in some video blogs, it true they're removing serration mod?
They hope to phase out serration, hornet strike and point blank eventually because with their existence guns might as well have 7 slots
They hope to phase out serration, hornet strike and point blank eventually because with their existence guns might as well have 7 slots
I'm gonna go cry in a corner with my almost maxed out serration and hornet strike as a final goodbye
No my friend you are high. Rely on the killing yourself 1 and body removal is a client function, not a host one 2, so the onus to collect is entirely on your end. "Character is shit" != "I don't like this character and can't utilize his skill set well"
stop saying onus the kind of gun I'm using and how terrible I am at killing shit is completely irrelevant to what I'm saying bodies evaporate too quickly, and killing more shit causes them to evaporate even more sure, sometimes after an ally's ultimate or something else, you get a tonne of bodies to use, but the majority of the time you cannot rely on their being more than 2-4 corpses about, which works out to 1-2 orbs unless you actually think that 1-2 orbs for 50 energy is good? my point is the desecrate ability goes completely against the function of the rest of the game and about bad hosts, if a body evaporates for the host, a client neckros can't desecrate that body, even if it still exists for them
They hope to phase out serration, hornet strike and point blank eventually because with their existence guns might as well have 7 slots
Watch as they scrap them and give nothing back to people who brought them to +135% and +200% respectively.
Watch as they scrap them and give nothing back to people who brought them to +135% and +200% respectively.
Hopefully they'll turn into fusion cores like when this mod system was first implemented and people had mods from the old system
They hope to phase out serration, hornet strike and point blank eventually because with their existence guns might as well have 7 slots
rip warframe is over, it was fun while it lasted
a friend and i had our first encounter with the harvester tonight, bagged a detron blueprint. now all i have to do is sacrifice lesser beings to the dark gods of RNG to find the other parts. also, id like to see a weapon build without any damage mods. if they remove serration they should also remove all mods that affect damage. speed trigger, split chamber, elemental mods, heavy caliber etc...
stop saying onus the kind of gun I'm using and how terrible I am at killing shit is completely irrelevant to what I'm saying bodies evaporate too quickly, and killing more shit causes them to evaporate even more sure, sometimes after an ally's ultimate or something else, you get a tonne of bodies to use, but the majority of the time you cannot rely on their being more than 2-4 corpses about, which works out to 1-2 orbs unless you actually think that 1-2 orbs for 50 energy is good? my point is the desecrate ability goes completely against the function of the rest of the game and about bad hosts, if a body evaporates for the host, a client neckros can't desecrate that body, even if it still exists for them
Except it doesn't and the burden IS on you whether you choose to utilize it or not. With equilibrium in place you should more than able to use it when you choose. It works fine for me, host or not, and I use several mods to enhance its functionality. You're acting like it's a mechanical objective problem and it isn't, especially against infested and when using an area denial weapon.
rest of the game
Lol, I could care less about press X to win powers, and have left them far behind a long time ago. Warframe's metagame after level 30 is about weapon and power functionality, not spamming ults or near ults, unless you're nova or valkyr. If you're using a spam mentality and expecting it to carry you through high level content, this game is going to be nothing but grief for you.
Warframe 2, when.
If you're using a spam mentality and expecting it to carry you through high level content, this game is going to be nothing but grief for you.
lol ok keep talking down at me as if I can't play instead of actually refuting my points you've now admitted you NEED equilibrium and other mods to use it effectively, you do realise there are plenty of useful utility powers (non-nukes) that work great right out of the box right? equilibrium is an expensive mod both in credits and points how about a quick comparison? for only 25 energy more, oberon can heal the team for 200. to match that, nekros has to desecrate ~15 corpses add a rage mod, which costs less than equilibrium, and oberon's heal is energy-neutral (for self heal)
Just built and played Oberon, all I can say is...Wow he does have nice feet.
Just built and played Oberon, all I can say is...Wow he does have nice feet.
The general level of ~fabulous~ in all warframes has definitely been steadily increasing over time.
also, id like to see a weapon build without any damage mods. if they remove serration they should also remove all mods that affect damage. speed trigger, split chamber, elemental mods, heavy caliber etc...
So basically remove all mods except for hush and zoom?
So basically remove all mods except for hush and zoom?
i bet they wanna add more non-damage mods which are more playstyle related, like the glaive mods or warframe mods (parry, handspring, master thief etc) [editline]11th January 2014[/editline] also they didnt say anything about elemental damage [editline]11th January 2014[/editline] and piercing shots [editline]11th January 2014[/editline] or ammo mods
Damage type mods are good as is. But yeah, things more like Thunderbolt for bows would be great. Or basic firerate mods that impact accuracy but can make a weapon faster or slower. Perhaps ricocheting rounds that deal less damage after a bounce, and upgrading would improve the damage preserved. More mods that have more noticeable gameplay impacts would be nice. But I still want to know what they'll do about weapon damage afterwards. Are they going to add a different function that allows you to put points or something in to the weapon to boost its damage overall and it stays that way, or just leave us with gimped weapons?
So who's molecules do I have to prime in order to get a clan invite. Names GuyonBroadway
Maybe they'll do something similar to warframes, and they'll get stronger as they level up?
Hopefully. That might allowa good way to better balance weapons. Weapons that are stronger by default have fewer ranks to go through and therefore get fewer mod points and a smaller increase to their damage, but because they're already strong by default, they'll still be strong in the end. Whereas weaker weapons can get stronger, and are more upgradeable.
Oberon's magic carpet is pretty crappy, I had oddly high hopes for it... Maybe if they made the effect an aura that follows him, i'd use it when i feel like going crazy with melee
Oberon's magic carpet is pretty crappy, I had oddly high hopes for it... Maybe if they made the effect an aura that follows him, i'd use it when i feel like going crazy with melee
What, Hallowed Ground? It's supposed to be area denial largely, much like Fire Blast for Embers. You throw it down and forget about it, and let anyone who wanders in kill themselves on it.
