I don't even really understand what the rope part is for other than being a cheap way to do mag's pull. The only way that would work would be with the extended controls given by Melee 2.0.
I don't get why two of the nominated weapons seem to have a grappling hook without DE commenting on it, because if that was actually implemented, it would make valkyr's ripline useless.
If the infested sword/scissors/measuring tape gets in the game, I hope DE makes it look more like it was once a creature like they did with scoliac, rather than a bunch of goop with a blade stuck in it. Just imagine it being designed as a mouth and you can "bite" enemies with it.
I'm really curious about the future factions they mentioned a couple weeks ago.
Twin Sparrows looks fun. Will be interesting to see how it will play in-game.

The rope hook idea is a really nice idea and a lot of people have wanted weapons that are just like that. And the scissor idea is great, just look at Sundowner from MGR. But all of these combined in to a short blade just won't happen without having like two or three different special attack functions that just aren't in the game and likely won't be ever.

Would this not be a badass (and fitting) weapon, or something like it. Standard attacks could just slash with the Kama, while the charge would actually throw the Kama forward. Then you could have it stumble whatever it hit along with the damage. Or if you keep the weight, then you throw the weight and have it do heavy impact damage on hit, and knock the target down.

Really though, right now my two favorite weapons are the Glaives and the the Scoliac. I love those things to death. But if they added a Kusarigama, I would never use anything else ever again. No guns, no swords or whips or glaives. Just that.

They'd be slow firing, use sniper rifle ammo so they'd have a low ammo count, but the longer you charge them the more damage they do and the farther they fly and they'd do strong damage.
