Not really when you compare mastery rank requirements, but then again orthos prime is prime so I don't know how you should compare them.

It is not better in damage per second.
200 damage every half second versus 400 damage 1.2 seconds at base.
Arguable you can be doing more damage with the galatine due to the fact that it has a cleave of 5.
It bothers me that clantech weapons don't have at least one polarity considering they take 1 or 2 formas to build

Dual ethers melted enemies before dmg 2.0 but now its pretty meh and dual heat swords were never very good from what i read
Dual heat swords used to be best melee in the game when used by ash or loki, but saying "best" anything is pretty pointless against the tide of power creep.

If it makes you feel any better, I just wallran through a wall into the void in a tower mission. After we had finished off almost the entire level, including the treasure room. With the data mass.
We've started calling it 'dojo-ing' it, because I managed to do the same thing in the dojo and then die.
i want to kill myself because the frames i want are nova, vauban, and nyx... preferably nova and vauban and all three are difficult to pick up..
also because after getting the orokin reactor blueprint from the grineer invasion...it deleted itself from my inventory.
DERA or Flux Rifle? Both look really cool but i have no idea wich one to build...
Anyone got any recommendations/tips?

I'm not sure if I caught the end of that invasion or if it was really short, but it felt like it was gone quick.

Don't get the flux, as both damage 2.0 and the recent changes to continuous fire weapons have not been kind to it. Not sure about the dera.

But it's easy to get Nova(and Nyx probably as well) unlike Vauban, which is either wait for alerts for his parts or pay 300 platinum.

I once managed to use Valkyrs ripline to get above the map while on a lift.
I jumped off and kept getting teleported up and falling past the level, eventually i fell back on the level and found I could pop ion through a wall.
But doors suddenly stopped responding to my presence and nothing seemed to think i existed.

You can escape the escape pod in Grineer VS Corpus invasion missions falling outside

when you get power throw and the one that stops it bouncing all over the place, it gets better. throwing it through a group of infested is good.

The throw is insanely useful though. And the spin attack is ridiculously lethal.

I need that Power Throw mod, and Whirlwind mod. :(
I have Glaive Prime so Whirlwind isn't such a big deal for me since the Prime version has a faster flight speed anyway. I'd still use it though if I had it.
