Swap the MK-1 braton for the regular braton asap. There isn't a point to keeping the MK-1 except for the mastery points you get from leveling it.
If you've got platinum, you're better off spending it on slots/catalysts/reactors/boosters than frames or weapons. Cosmetics are also an option, if you like.

Yeah, I suggest a Orokin Reactor as a first purchase so your Warframe doesn't get stuck with too little mod capacity.

slots in my opinion are a better first purchase.
i would never recommend a reactor for someones first suit.
don't buy potatoes at all, even though they are rare from alerts, you also don't need many, so it's easy to wait for alerts to pop up

Validating via steam causes that because steam pretty much only downloads Warframe launcher and after that you download the game via it, next time remember to validate Warframe via the Warframe launcher.

I'm not entirely sure what direction DE want to go with Tenno physiology; the original rescue target looked like a good possibility, given his hard angular features, discoloured skin, and what looked like subdermal armour. However, they then relegated him to chill in a cryopod for evermore, giving us the new guys. The new rescue targets are equally likely to be Tenno, given that they all wear tight-fitting lotus-emblazoned jumpsuits studded with interface ports, as well as the visors obscuring their eyes (see Alad's line about Tenno having no eyes). To an extent I'm inclined to say that the latter possibility is the more likely one (given that DE appear to be writing this as they go along), but the continued presence of the former in the cryopods throws doubt on this.

The problem with that is that steam wouldn't launch the launcher, and if I launched the launcher manually from /tools/launcher.exe , it wanted to download the entire game anyway. Revalidating with steam downloaded at 11MB/s vs Warframe's ~1, then warframe updated ~300-600mb at that ~1MB/s , so it was better in the end to just validate with steam.
However, validating didn't even fix the issue with steam launching the launcher, and all I ended up needing to do to fix that was a simple restart of steam :|

I want to see more urban environments for the Tenno to fight in. Places with a lot of verticality and structures.
