I keep hearing grineer women yell "Let's go tenno, attack!" on invasions. I kind of miss the "Where the hell's my door!?" voice when a lockdown is started.

Is Nyx any good? I've got all her blueprints from Phorid.
Chaos is the best crowd control ability in the game bar none. Her other abilities are a bit lame, mind control isn't bad But often unneeded. Absorb is great as an OH SHIT button because it makes you invuln while you regenerate your shields. It also returns damage back at your attackers when it finishes, but the damage is blocked by cover, so a lot of the time you build up a lot of damage but deal none. And there's no need to bother with Psychic Bolts, its pretty bad.
but she's great if you don't mind being a one trick pony. Her other abilities arent worthless but Chaos steals the show. It makes her one of the best possible choices for defense and she's perfectly suited for solo play.

It does now? I haven't play Nyx in a long time. I mean I know Absorb can do a lot of damage, but given how long it takes for it to cast, the enemies always made their way into cover before I blasted back at them. But if that's changed and can now hit through objects, that's wonderful!
And yeah Mind Control has its uses. It can turn a tough enemy into an ally and remove him as a threat, or just get him to stand still and take the beating until he dies. and like you said healers and shield drones buff you instead. But I mean in the grand scheme of things, it generally easier AND more effective to just get a giant chaos lump going. yeah it makes enemies neutral, but they almost ALWAYS consider their allies to be bigger threats than you, so they might as well be mind-controlled.
Absorb gets a bit annoying if you're using power duration mods and overextended. Especially if you are like me and instantly hit 4 when a huge group of enemies is nearby.
Also, a 30 minute run on Apollodorus got me a good amount of ferrite:

Personally, I prefer to focus on power efficiency with Nyx over duration. Considering Chaos can't be recast if ONE unit is still effected, I'd rather have the duration end early and recast it and get a whole new group or enemies with it, than wait for the time to run out or the one last guy to die.

you should take a nekros with you.
a friend and i farm ferrite there to 30 minutes with a nekros and a nova and get around 13-15k

Looks like they're throwing in a new material. I guess this is because people keep having buckettons of control modules and gallium as a result of earlier balancing.
I like how we're still killing the Corpus in this. Just even more reason to support the Grineer during invasions.
I just hope we will be able to craft some cool stuff with this new material. I'm fine with the rewards, it's not even a massie event so it's ok.
