well shit, some demon mode shit happening here.
Holy shit, they're adding devil triggers. They're fully intending for Melee 2.0 turning it into a character action game.
jack the ripper mode when?
I hope we can do Blade Mode finishers on bosses
I hope it doesn't negatively impact my Loki. Loki has gotta be one of the most powerful frames I have ever used, and I have all of them except for excalibur and frost. I gave my orthos prime max crit damage and a fast swing speed so I just go invisible and shred everything
Potato in Uranus, 1 hour 40 minutes
The focus part sounded interesting up until
Later on I can spend Focus to reduce it, but out of the gate my Focus can only be activated every hour.
Fuck that, it's probably going to end up being like attack items in most RPGs. You never use them because they might be more useful later, and then you're suddenly at the end of the game and they're worthless now. Not to mention that a global cooldown in a mission-based game feels very wrong. I understand they don't want it to be like the current ults that can end up being spammed every room, but it would honestly work better if it was something that built up within the mission instead of that cooldown

Well fuck me, that does actually sound like a plan for some end-game.
So melee 2.0 will turn Warframe into Warframe:The Revegeancing or not? I don't really know anything about melee 2.0
I'm just glad this Focus stuff means the 10 million extra exp on my Rhino can actually go somewhere
So melee 2.0 will turn Warframe into Warframe:The Revegeancing or not? I don't really know anything about melee 2.0
They are making it so that you can use melee exclusively and have bonuses for it. Its a bit more complicated than that i believe though.
I believe they're having combos for melee weapons unlockable through leveling up which is a step in the right direction in terms of most progression currently being through mods
I'm just glad this Focus stuff means the 10 million extra exp on my Rhino can actually go somewhere
as long as the unlocks are retroactively applied...
as long as the unlocks are retroactively applied...
Well, that shouldn't be hard to implement, seeing as all the exp you have gathered on weapons/frames are stored somewhere. I mean, the player stats come from somewhere. Now we will be able to build a relevant melee focused build using mods like Parry and Deflect Bullets.
Are twin gremlins any good?
Are twin gremlins any good?
They are a bit weird to use, if you have already done twin vipers then i'd say you will be fine with using them. It does have travel time, so beware.
Holy shit, they're adding devil triggers.
Are twin gremlins any good?
They're fantastic
They're fantastic
Yeah I agree although www.dpsframe.com says they are really low on dps they are fun as hell to use and Tower III Viable.
You forgot the part where the lyrics kick in
and it's like this sick power metal done entirely in the grineer voice and language "NOHEER GROT TENNO SONNAOVA GOT PU NA RAY GRAH, RASSI KLAS ASCHHHHHHHH~~" *awesome guitar riffing*
Why crit mod?
Melee attacks against enemies that don't know you're there are automatically critical hits. Going invisible as Loki or Ash fulfils that requirement.
Melee attacks against enemies that don't know you're there are automatically critical hits. Going invisible as Loki or Ash fulfils that requirement.
They still count as alerted if any other friendly grabs their attention, I thought?
Melee attacks against enemies that don't know you're there are automatically critical hits. Going invisible as Loki or Ash fulfils that requirement.
No they don't. They just increase damage by 400%.
Melee attacks are affected by stealth damage multiplier when attacking unalerted enemies or when cloaked by an ability (Smoke Screen and Invisibility). These damage multipliers change the color of regular damage pop-ups from white to yellow, and critical damage pop-ups from yellow to red. As of U11, it appears that regular, charge and finisher attacks have a 400% stealth damage multiplier.
http://warframe.wikia.com/wiki/Stealth Which means you want attack speed and range. [editline]4th February 2014[/editline]
They still count as alerted if any other friendly grabs their attention, I thought?
Frame invis is special and different from alerted. Alerted just means knows you're on the level and is immune to actual stealth kills - the ones with the animation. Being invisible through Loki or Ash's invis abilities grant a stealth damage bonus to melee, regardless of alert level.
It has to be this Vay [sp]Hek[/sp]
i wonder what german butt-rock would sound like
It has to be this Vay [sp]Hek[/sp]
Eddie Vay Hek
There is a vauban helmet alert for about 20 more minutes.
