I would want something like this too of course, but copyright issues and such.
But nah, a nice, hip sheathed, tenno style, sleak katana with sheath charge attacks would be sweet as hell.

What ping do you guys play at? I think mine's 250 right now, though I've had trouble finding groups lately.

250 is pretty high so it's probably because not many people are playing anymore, as it's been about a month since they released something that wasn't a Tenno reinforcement update.
Steam Stats said that it's got about 9400 people playing, with a peak of 14k. That's actually not too bad for a weeknight, or for a 4 player game. 13th most played game, right after L4D2. All the higher ones just have bigger playercounts per game.
That number could be higher since not everyone uses Steam to play Warframe.
Update in 11-12 hours? I should farm Oxium more and make sure to have at least 1 Forma available. Maybe Tenno Research Lab costs Oxium as well.
I'll rage if they make Avianframe requiring Volt and Banshee parts to be researched beforehand. Even without Volt and Banshee it'll take minimum 9 (or 12, if Refined Oxium is a thing) days before f2p players can get access to Avian, if we have to research by parts.
I have my ping limit set to 300 and I get connected to random players on the majority of missions I try to join or start. My region is US West though, which I imagine would be one of the most populated ones.

If Metal Gear Hek is replacing the old Vay Hek on Earth, then we'll still need to get Trinity off him, so either birdframe is also coming to clantech or he'll just drop parts for both frames

I'm US West as well. It might be because I'm working on regular missions on the last few high level planets, so there's less people out there anyway.
