instead of getting into a shuttle zeph should just jump straight out of the airlock and fly away into distant space while making faint cawing sounds over the mission results screen
:v:
Planking in spaaaaace
instead of getting into a shuttle zeph should just jump straight out of the airlock and fly away into distant space while making faint cawing sounds over the mission results screen
There is then an alert mission where you have to lure her back to base with a trail of orokin breadcrumbs
It's true. [SP]We still love you Desu :)[/SP]
Done and done! Sorry about the delay.
Thank you! :)
Looks like they added new enemy types, just bumped into a Grineer with a lifesteal aura. Saw an Infested with it earlier as well.
Prod Crewmen now wear ~green~ suits.
Just got home to find out about U12, is the Darvo mission still up?
Just got home to find out about U12, is the Darvo mission still up?
For another 97 hours, yep.

I couldn't use it atm :v:
get puush get gud
If the steam overlay doesn't attach to your game, go to the options menu in the launcher and tell it to use 32bit mode
wowee the new hyenas are an actual challenge
Mostly because of the one who drains your shields+e energy constantly
I want Codex of new Hyenas. [editline]6th February 2014[/editline] And Darvo.
Who's the cocksucker that did this. [t]http://cloud-4.steampowered.com/ugc/796312167629870528/EE5CE465AE25274496AB6FB85DBE6EC340B9BE9F/[/t]
I think I did that like 3 months ago
Ok, so I went over the stuff in U12 to see what's going on. I naturally started the game doing my rounds in the dojo, checking what has been funded and look for any new additions. Looks like the new tenno lab is kind of tiny, but it's better than it being absolutely massive, like the giant new garden. I also toyed around with the new decorations: [t]http://cloud-3.steampowered.com/ugc/3278921462192547554/8F382A322CFF3AD62713A1BE240E7C283D7B96F9/[/t][t]http://cloud-2.steampowered.com/ugc/3278921462192549901/B44BF541B4416AA5660F14ABAB79328809B070E6/[/t] Apparently, you can't place an island in the water, but clipping through the wall is perfectly fine. Yeah, that makes sense, right? Anyway, when I was done figuring out why buddha didn't like water, I decided to leave the dojo and check the codex for the new weapons. The phage I have no idea how works, so I guess I'll just see for myself when I try it. I did see a post here stating that it was some kind of beam shotgun. The second weapon are the stilettos or whatever they were called. Stat-wise they look terribad! If you like clicking and don't mind using projectiles, I'd say akbolto beats it in every way apart from crit chance and reload speed. The last weapon recently added was the grineer hammer which looks hilarious! Almost twice the damage of fragor, but almost twice as slow. I didn't look at the dual cestras because I just assumed the accuracy to be so low you'd actually start shooting behind you. As I said, the rocket hammer looked fun, so I thought I should try it out. Therefore, I went to the market and noticed that there were no new blueprints. You know what? I'm just going to not play for 3-4 days now. Apparently, everything in this update requires to be researched and because everything got funded, I'm just going to wait for it to get done, then try it out. You'd think a new update would actually make more people play, wouldn't you? Oh well, at least we got more ~exclusive clan equipment~ to wait for. I'd yell "hooray", but it would sound so sarcastic that my mouth would just leave. The thing I did like, however was the mission I did afterwards: Darvo's new quest! [sp]Getting some character lore is always fun. Darvo is a funny guy and Frohd seemed like a person thrown in without any context before I did this mission. I learned how Darvo is Frohd's son, that Frohd made a new and improved hyena that actually comes in packs and that Darvo could get in the corpus' inner orthodox circle if you didn't break in. The boss fight was fun, now we finally have a pack of four weaker hyenas, rather than one big one. The fight got easier as you destroyed them, but they were still threatening and could do significant damage if you weren't observant. This is definitively not the usual "stand still and shoot the thing until it's dead fight". Looks like they're also waiting for you on Neptune to get destroyed over and over again if you for some reason don't have loki yet. Considering we actually saved Darvo, who worked on this thing, I can see tenno bladewolf being a possible possibility in the future.[/sp] So basically, the only thing I've done after this huge update has been released has been to run around the dojo and gone on new adventures with Darvo. Here's hoping melee 2.0 and Hek Armstrong is going to be more fun than this.
Ember's codex pretty much confirms that the Orokin were 'breeding' tenno by shuttling ships full of children into the void. Jesus Christ.
But you're not Mag?
Dude elemental augmentations to our frame powers would be fucking amazing. [editline]6th February 2014[/editline]
Ember's codex pretty much confirms that the Orokin were 'breeding' tenno by shuttling ships full of children into the void. Jesus Christ.
it's like a twisted version of the Spartan II program [editline]6th February 2014[/editline] actually it might be more in line with the Spartan III program now that I think about it
Ember's codex pretty much confirms that the Orokin were 'breeding' tenno by shuttling ships full of children into the void. Jesus Christ.
kinda reminds me of those zombie ghost crusader kids from Clive Barker's Jericho (a Clive Barker game by Clive Barker)
What is the new Osprey in codex?
Ember's codex pretty much confirms that the Orokin were 'breeding' tenno by shuttling ships full of children into the void. Jesus Christ.
let's all just shovel shiploads of children into the place that makes you a mutant that's how science works
That's like fucking Space Pirate levels of science "Oh a monster? Let's fucking dump Phazon on it." No wonder the Tenno murdered the shit out of the Orokin.
Actually, after having read Ember's, Excalibur's and Stalker's story again I have a theory about what happened. So basically, it's the orokin age (possibly as a consequence from the events in dark sector). The orokin are running a giant empire across the solar system and everything is awesome. There is a technological revolution, breeding new science to be done. One of these fields are on the void. The void (or "fold" as the orokin called it) is a space in the universe where magical stuff happens and nothing returns from. Nobody understands the void, which is why the orokin is doing science on it. They send stuff into it and hope it returns, this including military ships full of personnel. After a while, that exact ship returns somewhere around Saturn. It was found by the woman in the ember saga, who discovered all the personnel were gone, until she found the "children" in there. My theory is that the void manipulated time somehow and reversed not just the aging process, but also the evolutionary process. Thus, all the people got turned into children, then monkeys, then reptiles, then fish. Of course only one kind of fish would be able to survive this; the koi. The koi were "scarred" in a sort of way. They had been damaged and twisted by the void, but also empowered. Of course, it would be hard to control the massive energies in the void, so the koi had to be sealed away and contained in order to not cause harm to civilians. All while the orokin did science on them. Then some sentient guys comes along and says "fuck you evil golden orokin empire, we're starting a war and stealing your sushi", the orokin were like "well fuck you too" and then the war had started. Only problem was that the orokin fucked up and ended up in a bad position about to loose the war. That's when they decided to create or revive the technocyte virus and turned everything into zombies. Unfortunately, this plan kind of backfired (as shown in the derelict ruins). So the orokin are getting fucked from every angle and ends up having their most stupid idea yet. "Hey guys!" says one "So we have this deadly virus, and these super-powered fish..." Everybody nods. "What if we wrap the super-powered fish in this super-dangerous virus?" And so they did. Thus they made the tenno and deployed them everywhere. The tenno then decided to fuck everybody, apart from the orokin's day up and the sentients got fucked so hard in the ass that they bled to death together with anal prolapse. Because of this, the orokin holds a giant ceremony where they cheer at the tenno being horrible [del]child[/del] fish soldiers who restored the war economy. When someone decided to hit a drum 9 times, the tenno got crazy and murdered everyone. Possibly in drunken rage, I have no idea. Anyway, some orokin guards got pissed at this and made their own Linking Park fanclub; the velvet assassins (or whatever Steve called that faction). TL;DR: So basically the tenno are former soldiers who got fucked in the ass by the void before getting out of there and coated with tumors and then they became space ninjas who killed everything. So then I only have a few questions still unanswered: 1. Why did the tenno cause the great collapse? 2. Who are the grineer and corpus? Are they remains of the sentients who came back after the tenno killed everyone? 3. How did the tenno end up in cryostasis? Did the orokin attempt to make more of them by sending a bunch of old people into the void, full of technocyte? I don't think orokin are SEARS-like dicks, but rather some kind of empire full of mad scientists with bad ideas. I guess that's what happened to Japan in the future! :v:
So it seems like enemies can randomly have "auras" applied to them. One of these auras passively drains your energy as long as you're within range. Don't have any hard numbers or anything to really compare it to, but it's bigger than melee range and capable of going through walls.
