So let me ask you guys a question about how affinity/mastery works. I still have my (awful) starter gear, the MK1, Lato and Skana. I want to get rid of them for the space, but I want the mastery from maxing them first. Is that actually a thing I should worry about, or when I sell them will I lose that mastery? Because if so, I'm just going to junk them as soon as I need a slot.
You'll still have the mastery. Junk em as soon as possible. It's not like there isn't a billion other weapons to get mastery from.

Rank them 30 so you can get maxiumum amount of mastery xp you can of them, after that sell them if you want, you don't want to have come back and create new skana just so that you can rank it to rank 30 because you went and sold it while it was rank 29 like I did back when I didn't had no idea of mastery worked.
Nuff said rank gear to 30 and then sell.

I have everything maxed and I am eagerly waiting for the new weapons and frame to be done so I can back to maxing stuff out.
Eh, mastery has a whole 2 functions, and it's not like you'll really need a mastery past 6 unless you're going to excessively trick out your lens system.
I just supercharge and forma everything now.
I've never tater'd a melee weapon though. I recently forma'd my orthos prime but that's because it goes well with my loki

That's what I thought, but I wasn't sure. It'll be a painful painful grind to get these awful things to 30 first, but after that I can just get rid of them and never have to look at them again. At least that Rifle Ammo Mutation is coming in handy before I get a decent rifle.

Sorry for the late response but no, it wasn't a mod card, it was a Sentinel drop.
Also they need to update the Corrupted Corpus model, when you "break" the helmet it doesn't appear the head, it keeps the model of the helmet

Just got a smidgen of Oxium from a T1 Capture mission, I assume from a container. I wasn't aware that 'certain Corpus containers' included tower containers. At least I've got a little bit more to donate now.
On a side note, is Well of Life that significant if I can pull out enough energy to have a Blessing ready in case we need it? I mean it makes enemies a giant target, but it also gives them 10x health for the duration which kinda defeats the purpose of raising them above cover.

it litterally melted phorid in two seconds straight
Someone had a basic build with it doing 7k DPS as a general build without any forma.

It's very, very effective against grineer. Not too sure how it is against corpus and infested since I haven't used it on them since before damage 2.0.

Should I fuck it and buy Zephyr, or just try to leech the Zephyr blueprints off some clan that has her researched already and save the plat for endless potatoes? Because fuck gathering all that fieldron/detonite/mutagen to research her myself in my clan of only me.
Buy her, worth every platinum a hundred times over.
I've been hoping for a 75% off or even 50% off so I can buy just enough and get the whole Zephyr pack. Then just have the Phage, Jat Kittag, and Zephyr, each already potato'd and without using up the few slots I have left. In fact, I think I only have one weapon slot and may not have a frame slot.

No one has researched her yet. You can't rush research, and it takes a total of 6 days for the base + parts.

I forma things that don't suck.
ex: Brakk, Galatine, Scoliac, Rhino, Ash, Loki, Synapse, Soma, Ignis, Drakgoon, etc.
