I really hope they get out of this clan tech phase, waiting at minimum 3 days for research then another day for build time for every weapon they release is getting real fucking old.

I just want them to go back to putting new weapon blueprints in the market. That or either drastically reduce research time to only one day and build time reduced to 12 hours like most weapons.

Upgraded mods would make great rewards for defense. Such as going really high would increase your chance of getting a maxed out redirection

They should just add those stupid goddamn Legendary Fusion Cores into the reward tables. Maybe make you guaranteed to get one if you last to wave 100 in a Tower III Defence or something

Penta, Tetra, Hind and Tysis make no sense not being clan tech though, they're all weapons based on Corpus/Grineer/Infested tech.

Yes most corpus weapons should of been clan tech if they stayed with the theme, but Hind wouldn't fit the chem lab, the Grinlok and Marelok shouldn't be in there either.
Drakgoon would have been okay as a research weapon too.
Frankly you can't make everything a clan weapon just because it isolates players who don't want to be in a clan. That's why things like the Penta are not clan tech, its to give players not in a clan something akin to the Ogris to use.

Valkyr was great when Oberon came out, mine was around rank 5 and i'd just rush in, Hysteria and rush out. Now i'll probably trade her for Oberon when I get her ranked up more :v:

initially I thought the point of clantech was enemy weapon designs that the tenno had stolen, reverse-engineered and improved upon. but I don't really know what they're trying to do with it now.

we have to research the corpus guns because they are better than the ones they use - better stats and compatible with mods

Playing this game with some friends, we made a clan and we have what will eventually be a kickass dojo.
I got to design the main garden, which will be awesome. Sort of like the presidium tower from mass effect, with the very tall room and trees.
Warframe is one of the few decent f2ps I have played in a while. When playing by yourself you can feel like a badass, and even if your friends are many levels above you, you still get to just hoover up the loot they produce.

Worst part is for a while you could semi reliably get 3 cells for an invasion but then they nerfed that so you get only one for five missions. I already had a hard time completing them but there's not much point now, you also can't get many credits either anymore. It's only worth it if the reward is a forma or potato.
Tbh best way to get orokin cells is to farm boss that drops them. In this case its Sargas Ruk.
Speaking of orkin cells, there is an alert for one now 34min left.
